My LGS stopped selling their Mana Crypts and Jeweled Lotus, and they had 13 Mana Crypts in stock and 3 Lotus. I wanted to buy them with my store credit, but my LGS wouldn't sell them to anyone. Looks like it paid off for them.

I’m not certain but I think Armageddon might be at least partly because of premodern. It’s a top sideboard card in that format and premodern is moving prices a lot more than before (call of the herd and parallax tide)

It has nothing to do with that. WOTC told the RC not to do the ban. They did the ban anyways, which was obviously a huge fluke in the first place, even without the death threats, I don't think WotC would've just sat by anyways.

Wow....I am really surprised to see Armageddon. I never got a Lord of Pain and it's a pretty good card. Clearly the Rules Committee handled these bannings very poorly. I do not condone violence but they brought this on themselves by not thinking this through. They caused LGS, Sellers, and Players to lose so much money. Then when Wizards took over, some LGS made a killing. My oldest son held on to all of his banned cards. Thank you for the video Mox Man. THE RAMBLE AND THE JAMBLE! So the sales of boxes are down 20%. Why does this not surprise me. If and when some of these boxes go down in price in the next few months, so will the singles.

MTG exists because it is collectible. WOTC finally figured out that the RC almost destroyed the game and decided to accept responsibility for Commander in an attempt to save MTG. Many CCG have failed because the collectability did not translate to monetary value even some that played well.
