Think Jim missed the idea behind the chair shots. It was done because Rollins did it to Reigns to end the Shield. Reigns yelling “he wont let me let go” during the guillotine I feel was Reigns saying Rollins keeps bringing up the Shield days and Reigns is trying to let that part of his career go. If you listen to Roman, before he started hitting Seth with the chair, he told him “you took a piece of me, and I need to get it back.” I didn’t care for the DQ finish myself, but I understood the story as a whole and why shit was done. Roman vs Seth vs Brock at Mania will be awesome. Imagine this, back in 2014, both men were an obstacle for Reigns to overcome. Brock was the champion, and Seth was a MITB holder. And he failed to overcome them both. Fast forward 8 years. 8 FUCKING YEARS. Roman is the fucking mountain to be overcome. Seth and Brock are coming to get Roman at WrestleMania. Imagine the fucking story. The match that lasted just about 3 minutes at Mania, now gets to main event their second one with arguably more time. Three men at their career prime. Nothing would top it. If Brock wins, which he wouldn't, it would be anti climatic. But if Seth wins, it tells a poetic story of how Seth screws Roman at Mania once again. If Roman wins, he overcomes both of them finally and end the story that started 8 years back.

Yes I hate the spot where the guy gets hit 20 times in the back with a chair instead of just taking one good safe chairshot to the head. What they're telling us is "I'm not really trying to hurt this guy so I'll hit him in the back a bunch of times" even though it actually does hurt. They would honestly rather do something fake and dangerous instead of something believable and controlled.
@bwillsoren81732 жыл бұрын
Needless to say but... it's like Kind of Like Wwe's focus for climatic chair Shots to Rollins in retrospective is like Remind of the shield Betrayal...that had happened in 2014 For the sake of Storytelling.
@717sportschatlive22 жыл бұрын
The whole ending was Romans redemption for seth breaking up the shield and hitting him and Dean/mox multiple times with a chair then

I don’t think Jim understood the significance of that ending, Reigns not releasing Seth and him responding “he won’t let me” (think about that) Him hitting Rollins was kind of wheel come full circle since Seth started it by bringing The Shield into it.

The new ring announcer is awesome in my opinion. And the match itself was amazing story telling. The finish wasn’t ideal but I think that have been a botch from Rollins in holding onto the rope instead of just having his hand lay on it.
@evilshadow87612 жыл бұрын
Don’t think so. The ref would have stopped the count and informed Reigns and he would have let go.
@Maxx_d132 жыл бұрын
Rollins had the shield gear on and def had other padding so the chair shots def didn’t hurt. It was payback from when rollins turned on the shield. The story made sense because rollins was wearing the gear and reigns is the tribal chief

I had to get a few parts recently and I went to an O'Reilly's and then an Advance Auto Parts and not only were the prices ridiculous, I also had to wait a few weeks for the parts to get in. On Rock Auto, I got the parts for like half the cost and everything got shipped to me in a week.
