I started watching wrestling and going to matches in '91. I have seen a helluva lot over the last 33 years, and I can honestly say that The Bloodline is the most successful angle I have ever seen. It has lasted 4 years now and is still massively over. It has involved over 20 people, and every single person has come out of it better than they went in. What WWE has accomplished with this angle will go down in history, and they are now even weaving Drew McIntyre and CM Punk in, with more Bloodline family members in the pipe line. Every top guy is connected to this angle in some way, so they can cycle all of them in and out as needed without messing up the story. This angle is a master class in booking professional wrestling.
@merhawifirzun347722 күн бұрын
That's what I was thinking since last Monday RAW too. The Bloodline has been successful as family Drama,faction whatever you would call it. but by how much it has involved many people outside of the family, I don't think it is done yet. You have CM Punk tied to it Because of Paul Heyman. And you have Drew McIntire, who had issue with the bloodline before and had battle with CM Punk just few months ago, Now McIntire has more reason to go after the Bloodline. Seth Rollins is an other one who has similar issues. Kevin Owen is the Same. His friend Samy just returned to Roman. Adding that to the Cody situation, the whole thing is mess. I was wondering what the OG Bloodline would do after they are done with the new Bloodline, but it seems the whole storyline is going to stretch out to the whole roster. Hopefully that's what the people in Charges are thinking, they have alot of stories there.

I'm going to say something controversial here: The "Shark Cages", I feel, actually fix a psychological issue with the match that's been a problem since up until the 1996 "War Games" (where they were kept backstage until time to enter), and that is: "What's stopping the members of one team from just going around and fighting with the other team on the outside of the cage while they wait?" Corny hypothesizes that they did it so they could use weapons, I say it actually fills one gaping logic hole in the match. If both teams are locked in shark cages until time to be in the match, they can't interfere with each other.
@BlackBearNE20 күн бұрын
I agree. I like the cages. If War Games is being used correctly, for blood feuds between factions, it feeds into that by keeping them separated until they finally get in the match. Or else they could just all kill each other before the match starts.

The women's match is there because people don't understand the difference between Equity and Equality. The women's division in WWE get Equity, aka they get everything the men get. Jey Uso Mic > 6.5/10 Presentation Package > 9/10 In- Ring > 5.5/10 Total Score: 21/30 Perfect Mid Carder Score: 21 World Champ Material Score: 24+ ====== He's not world champ material but he is FANTASTIC Intercontinental or U. S. Champion material. Corny is right. He needs to tighten up a couple things. He's not terribly far off. He has "the look/presentation" down as good as a main eventer can get. He's gotten Ok with the mic but still is too catch phrase reliant and doesn't own the room in promos for stretches, but he's good for brief stuff. His in ring work IS the trouble. Not that he has to adapt the guy's style, but if he'd be on a level of say Pete Dunn (don't laugh, he's pretty solid if you solely look at in-ring and not gimmick or size) ... then Jey is world champ material.

I will say, I was there live, and have been live at 2 PLEs this year…those breaks in between the matches are great for the live audience. At home it does make the show feel like it’s dragging but being there, you get to go to the bathroom, you get to relax after exerting all the energy, etc and it really does give you more energy for each match then sprinting guys down the ramp the way they used to and the way AEW does

It still would have been better if they had just added an exhibition match as filler instead of all the unnecessary commercials and dead air time.
@PersonalAcc198917 күн бұрын
@ no it wouldn’t have. A fucking cold match with no story would have not been good. What makes these shows great is you’re getting these individual stories as like stand alone episodes and you just happen to be binging them. You’re basically binging 5 episodes of a show in a row. You get episode 1 which is usually a banger then they bring it down and maybe one in the middle is mind blowing and then you get season finale, the main event. And in between you get to think about what oh just saw, tweet about it, talk to your friends who you’re watching with, and not be so fucking bombarded with shit that literally doesn’t matter. Yea Carmelo Hayes vs Finn Balor could have been added last second as a Raw vs SD special…and it would have meant nothing and sucked and been pointless. Pointless shit is shit.

That spot with Reed jumping off the cage and missing was crazy. But I feel horrible for Reed cause he broke both of his ankles and is going to be out for a few months I read.

Well a 400lb guy shouldn't be going off the top of a cage through a table

This was so much better than the Women’s match by miles and every time Jacob Fatu is around you gotta keep your eyes on him, he’s so damn good at EVERYTHING!!!

Every Man's match is going to be better than a women's match....... if you're being honest and not letting your attractiveness to the female wrestlers Cloud your judgement.

@TheJuise26 they aren't even decent..... there's only two maybe three girls on the entire roster worth watching, the rest are just there for "equal time" purposes.

Nah, it worked pretty well. It made it feel like it was more of an urgent situation. They knew they needed more than just their fist to end this, it was that heated.

The men's match this year is better than the women's, especially because they didn't uses as many weapons, and focused more on the story. Women, your streak of better gimmick matches has ended.

it's a crime against humanity that Cornette won't come back for one last heel manager run that puts him against heyman. that would be the greatest shiii ever. also.. sucks that Bronson got hurt, but these days with how much thought they're putting into how they book.. as long as he's not injured for a yr or something i think it helps him to not be overexposed.
