8:00 The Indians WERE coming down on gold and have since reversed their positions after strikes and unrest, because taxing gold is essentially a tax on marriage in India (due to culture and traditions) this pissed off a lot of people.

Have you looked at his ETF Fund (RJA) lately? It's down almost half in the last five years. It's gone nowhere but down since it started trading.

I hope Jim's right about North Korea. Those poor people need to get out from under that boot. North Korea has to be one of the biggest crap holes in the world.

The moral core of Free Enterprise is earned success. America is not a free market/ enterprise system it's socialist. Capitalism is how to fix America. And yes there are winners and losers in capitalism instead of socialism where everyone loses.

Jim Rogers is basically a mercantilist. Instead of looking at things like capital growth and technology, human capital, ect. that determine growth, he's focusing on trade statistics that only exist because customs officials record them. He should read David Hume and Adam Smith (or at least summaries)

Jim... did you say 1 billion Indians, and 75 million N. Koreans? VERY odd. You are extremely off the mark. In Korea's case 3x. Absurd, coming from you.
