Jim Steinman - Kid Champion (Vocal Demos, 1975)

Well that was a fast 4 months, anyway here we are again - with the vocal demos taped for Kid Champion in 1975... These were presumably used throughout the show, and hopefully I have them sounding better than before although my hearing is pretty screwed up so you tell me! I don't know why 'Donny's Guitar' wasn't included in the instrumental video, so it's here. Music by Jim Steinman, lyrics apparently by both Thomas Babe and Jim Steinman, how interesting - there really isn't too much info on these so if you have any, please share!

Again the players are unknown, as is the vocalist. There have been a few theories but nothing conclusive, see if you can figure it out!

Little bit of info: 6:41 until the ending of the song, doing the "but most of all" backing vocals, is Jim himself, sourced from "Jim Steinman - For Crying Out Loud (1975 Demo)" posted by "The Historian" on KZbin. (just from listening, those backup parts I can confirm are 100% Jim). "The Historian"s description from this same recording states that Jim himself is also playing the piano during "For Crying Out Loud" in this clip.

This is just so great! Half way through and I'm crying like a baby! Plus I lost my voice singing along! "For Crying Out Loud" is just one of the greatest songs written by anyone - ever! "Yogi" was good as well!
