It was easy to get drawn into Jim Trettel's green Firebird, especially when you notice the twin-turbo LSX engine he had under the hood of the car. @@EngineBuilderYes, I’m possibly getting a 2nd firebird to rebuild an LS engine to put into that one. My current firebird was bored & stroked to 468 by the previous owner (they went through Butler Performance Pontiac for that).

I love Pontiacs, and I vomit every time I see an LS engine in something other than a Chevy/GMC. Big Chief runs a 482 Pontiac engine with Edlebrock Performer RPM heads with two turbos and competes with the best race engines money can buy. So there is no good reason to use an LS based engine, unless you just want to. It's no cheaper once you get to a certain HP level. All power costs $. But still cool, just not an LS fan for muscle cars. They're everywhere & frankly I'm bored of seeing them. Each to their own & it's a nice car.

1967 has wing windows, 1968 does not. I know my pontiacs

And the symbol was added on the rear side in 1968. But anyways, still a nice rebuild!
