Jimmy you're supposed to put the tip of your finger on the top button, like the apple watch. I just got my galaxy watch3 today and got to try out ECG right away. You will get the best results if you place your finger on the button

Jimmie is there a way to get the blood pressure working because only EKG works but it says blood pressure and EKG but I can't get the blood pressure to work I tried many APk s But no luck is there anyway to get the blood pressure to work because this is more board to me than EKG

Curious why no reviewers or Samsung info has addressed this issue of no BP reading! ECG is fun but not as important as BP because I don't have A Fib but do have relatively high BP and want to monitor it and just use the cuff occasionally.

Ok... watch 3 here. I had ALL the issues listed here to get this to work. It was suggested to restart the watch and BLAMO!! That did it for me. I reset the samsung app, cleared the cache, disconnected the watch, power cycled the watch, connected it again and finally requested the ekg app to connect through the watch. 👍👍

Atrial fibulation is an irregular heart beat. I use cardiac monitors everyday at work. I can't say for certain but the only rhythms I think it could detect would be abnormal pulse rhythm. The cardiac monitor I use has 10 stickers (aka electrodes) that you have to place on the human body to get an accurate reading of what the heart is doing. But this does look like a good idea.

After disconnecting and connecting my Bluetooth and uninstalling and installing the app and clearing the data and cache I gave up hope,then I rebooted my watch 3 by holding down both buttons and viola! it worked. Thanks for the video

will the ecg work if your touching one of the prongs the strap attaches to? wanted to use a case on it but that blocks everything except for the screen and strap prongs or whatever they're called.

Going into Bluetooth and taping on the watch to disconnect it, and then reconnecting and reopening the wearables app worked for me.

I have followed your recommendation on force stopping the app and clearing cache and data but it still shows that I don't have a compatible watch. I am using the Galaxy S20 Ultra with the Watch3.

Try rebooting your watch,hold down both buttons at the same time. I have the watch 3 and a note 10÷ and it worked.

Check out " My BP Lab 2.0 " by Sage Bionetworks, for galaxy S9 and newer. It was developed by a team at UCSF as a part of a stress study. I used the app on my S9+ for almost a year, and just added it to my new GWA2 Just download the app on your phone and watch.

The ECG needs to be approved by regulators in each country its launched in that has regulations. The ECG feature was launched in the US, not in the UK. It might be a few months or weeks before it launches in your area

Simply repairing through Bluetooth and re opening wearables app did the trick for me, just had to wait like 8 seconds for it to start looking for the update after taping on download and update now option.

I had that problem when i installed it through the APK file, if you used that file, it wont work if you bought the watch outside of Korea and now USA. If you got the official update, then mabey uninstall and reinstall the Monitor Health app.
