To put things into perspective, Jin loves gaming so he wrote ANOTHER LEVEL thinking of himself as the main character in a game. FALLING is about him being shy and finding it really difficult to approach someone. I WILL COME TO YOU is a fan song talking about the break he took for enlistment, missing everything and his yearning to come back.

Jin has this incredible ability to make you feel like you’ve just watched an epic movie, all through his music. He creates whole cinematic experiences with his sound. And what’s even more impressive is that he can make you love any genre, no matter your taste. I mean even with 'Super Tuna', it broke records, and even Jimmy Fallon danced to it on The Tonight Show, while Jin was literally suffering from his own success on a song made for fun😂.

That man is everything. The way the emotions are translated through his voice is amazing. About falling, he's an introvert and very shy even if he is a superstar. He makes an effort to interact with strangers, but it costs him. No eye contact 😅 He did a show a couple of weeks ago, and him singing live is even more powerful. Another Level is video game inspired. He is a gamer, and he expends a lot of his free time on video games. I'll Be There and I Will Come To You is for ARMY. The last one he wrote it when he was discharged based on notes he took while he was enlisted.

You are so observant- the sound, the lyrics, the visuals- and you make connections that make your reactions so worth watching. You were right about the end of the world right off the bat. The movie theater scene was added at the end, because Jin thought we'd be too sad if we thought he died 😂like when a movie or TV series ends with "it was all a dream." He really does believe that you have to be happy in the moment. There are 2 MVs with a live band (the D-day and Muse band from those lives) one for Running Wild, and one for I'll Be There where Jin really lets go on ad libs. There is also a new version of Falling, ft. Taka from One OK Rock (he co-wrote and co-produced the song and Toru played guitar); it's really good. OOK is an awesome Japanese rock band that has been around for a while. The thing you like is Jin's vibrato. It popped out now and then in group songs; In particular you can hear it on some live songs, like Spring Day on Tiny Desk. His voice has matured and I'm loving how he's using it. I'm cracking up from his voice in I'll Be There- it reminds me a little of Jerry Lee Lewis in Great Balls of Fire (I'm not old enough to actually remember!). Heart on the Window is a good driving song, btw. It's depressingly gloomy in NY, and I have to stab a turkey with a thermometer. Happy holiday to those observing, and everyone be HAPPY.

He dropped a free concert for in person/online for free the weekend this album dropped, performed live was so great with the live band too. Highly recommend you catch that too once they release the rewatch. Not only did he host a live free concert, he bought out a theme park for the whole weekend out of pocket for Armies attending to be able to enjoy their stays. He's so kind and generous. The final track was written by him during enlistment for fans and loved ones. I look forward to everything he will bring ahead too, this is just the start. His voice in particular works so well for OST tracks, I'd love to hear more rock from him ahead and more experimentation. The way he emotes through his voice is incredible, he can be so moving or uplifting. V (Taehyung) has just dropped a new track too called Winter Ahead, would love to see you react to his mv. Be prepared to not expect anyhing and go for the ride

There's an order, but you can check out whoever you want (I mean member who's in the episode), no biggie💜 Be prepared for pausing because they kinda talk fast (there're subs with what they're saying + subs-commentary from editors). Also, sometimes there're references from Korea, some films, food, places or people, that might be confusing too, but overall a lot of interesting information about members, their perspective, it will be great. Our beloved Yoongi made sure that we have enough content from him and his members, JK even has been on the show twice, so there's plenty for you to watch! Have fun!

Damn I thought if we got treated to a new GameBoyy reaction, it would be for GNX but I didn't expect we'd get one for Happy. Yessss! Either way it's a win for me. Had me a good time watching you comb through the album and have fun with it. I like that Jin approached the musical concept of Happy as having some songs that simply feel joyous and good in the ears, while other songs are cheering you on your journey to finding happiness while others acknowledge that getting to a state of happiness is a jouney which means you sometimes might come from a place of sadness first. There are many sides to this thing that we all want to get or keep or protect. The final song was one he thought up while in the military and I love it a lot. It almost sounds like he was feeling that same thing we were when we were separated and missed him (and the other 6 members). Like he got it. And the way he's been spoiling us with music, content, presents, events, trips, etc. we can tell he missed ARMY a lot too.

I really appreciate how your able to enjoy aspects of the song even when it's not your usual taste and describe the things you like with the vocals along with the instrumentation or even the mixing etc. I'm someone myself that my first impression of a song is not always a good one it's like I have to live with it for a while to know what I really think about the song and I've even got back to BTS songs when I did album listens in the past where I thought it was just an okay song so I didn't bother listening to it much after or adding it to my playlist but then I went back much later ended up loving it or it becoming a new favorite. I did that with their original Japanese songs cuz I didn't really listen to them but once or twice in some cases but now I love Wake Up, Don't Leave Me, Wishing on a Star, Let go, Crystal Snow, and many more. It's actually funny cuz I tend not to like the Japanese versions of their originally Korean songs (they record Japanese versions of their title tracks) but I like the songs that are originally written in Japanese. Actually now that I mention it I really like the version of Falling feat. Taka of One OK Rock which is also in Japanese.

Rap or sing. 💜 The last song "I Will Come To You" is an ARMY song that JIN wrote while he was serving in the Military, and he really would come to Weverse and check in with us, and he was also supporting his bros. He really did miss ARMY's and BTS. I think that's why he literally jumped in headfirst on the content as soon as he was discharged. He went straight to the HYBE building and did a LIVE STREAM on Weverse with ARMY. And the next day he did a HUGGING event for 1,000 ARMY's. He literally gave a HUG to 1,000 ARMY's. Then he did an ARMY event and sang the songs he had already, and did a Mukbang and just talked to ARMY. He hasn't stopped.

Great reaction as always. I feel I can relate to what you said as on first listen to Happy I liked it even though rock style isn’t usually my fave. With each subsequent album listen I love it even more…really, really love the tracks especially Falling & Heart on the Window. The music is that good it’s impossible not to like it. It’s something I’m very pleased about - BTS opens me up to other genres I might overlook normally. When you watch SuperTuna it’s a very short song. It might seem a little silly even…but I actually like the ‘trot’ style Jin sings in. There’s a video on BangtanTV called Jin of Sea Island Production Film which I think you’d enjoy seeing. This is about 15 minutes long (from memory apologies if it’s not that accurate) and it shows the whole process. Jin was on a photo shoot with a naval theme in late 2021. He was dressed as a fisherman and jokingly wrote a fishing song with a producer friend. The result was good enough they decided to record it & released it as a 1 minute track with a special choreography video. Then, after Jin was discharged from the military he added the second verse.

The first few comments I see covered what I was going to comment on. I will say that Falling (with Taka) gives it an extra punch, soooo good. This song was given to Jin by Taka who is apart of a Japanese Rock group called One Ok Rock and he is a fan of BTS and met Jin by chance while in LA this collab was fate according to Taka. The last song - 'I Will Come to You' was written by Jin while he was in the Military, it's his song for ARMY.

you just get him man. you just get his vocals. piercing. they give me chills. i love how even tho soft rock might not be ur genre but jin's voice is so good that you cant help liking it even if just a tiny bit 🤭. also yes would love for you to check out suchwita !! its such a good show and you can get to know the boys even better.

Wow man, you never EVER disappoint!! The way you analyze each song and truly appreciate every single cadence, high note and instrumental. We really really appreciate it! Jin is truly one of my favorites, especially his personality, he is absolutely hilarious. I would love to see you go back a bit to the beginning and do some more of Jhope’s stuff! Especially his albums hope world and jack in the box. He’s definitely an artist worth exploring and I think you would fall in love with his artistry. A video called “a guide to the 7 bts members” would also be an awesome next step before listening to them as a full group! Great reaction, I love the way you talk about music. I am not great at understanding music, much less identifying what about a particular song it is that I like. But the way you talk about it really helps me be able to clarify and speak to what I like about it. Oh my, Astronaut and Super Tuna. 🤣 I would suggest, for fun, listening to them in the same video, with Astronaut first. No spoilers, but FYI Jin originally put out super tuna as a very short clip, almost like a KZbin short and then years later released a full length version. You might actually enjoy listening to the original short one first and then the long one, and notice the difference between them. Especially how his voice changes.
