When we did Omegle videos at SkyMedia I remember raising concern about a fan who was cosplaying as jinbop (main victim). The omegle videos, I believe this is where he started his close interactions with fans. Also Jin was fired after an argument broke out and almost turned physical about I kid you not whether you could play Super Smash bros for fun. Jin on the way out of the building fuming kicked the wall. That, along with a lot of verbal threats, he would 'jokingly' make to us. I absoluted hated forcing myself to be his friend during those years. Also the footage used for me made me laugh and I thought was perfect

@@6Shots_ofEspresso I was 14 in 2014,so while I did have some internet access I didn't have much of an online presence thanks to 1) limited social media 2) my obsession with a horse trading game and 3)my parents rules surrounding the internet. It's really scary that you can recognise people have tried to take advantage of you because of your age, I know it sucks to hear but your brain isn't fully developed until youre 25 and I honestly feel like I'm still not mature enough to make a lot of decisions. Kids your age shouldn't be policing your own relationships on the look out for predators, it's the adults in your life and in these relationship who should be keeping you safe and measuring what is and isn't appropriate. When I was younger bad things on the internet were easy to spot, everyone knows the joke of looking up my little pony videos and ending up watching a beheading video. You'd see something bad and know it was bad, but on today's internet dangers are really sneaky and hidden especially predators, which makes it harder for kids to protect themselves. It's not super surprising. Back then it was musicians and actors, and now it's internet influencers. Unless it's something super egregious (e.g., kids that identify themselves as 'adult attracted minors' outright), it isn't shocking for a minor to have feelings for an older person that they idolize. That's why child safeguarding is important, and why you need adults to be the 'bigger people' and shutdown said advances.

Actually, Jin didn't leave Sky's office for creative differences or the deal with his channel being bought by Sky (like Ross), he was fired. A video uploaded by Mithzan (Max) named Taboo, is a video about Max and Ross (YourPalRoss, formerly House Owner) sharing their experiences in the office (though originally it was about their fears.) At the end of the video, Max reveals that Jin was fired cause he threw a fit about Smash Bros. I'm not even joking. For context, Jin was very competitive, and anytime someone talked about smash in the office, he would rage because "smash competitive ruined his life and can only be played competitively." Because of this, their was an unoffical rule in the office that no one is allowed to talk about smash bros at all. However during a recording session, someone accidentally mentioned the game. Jin acted normally during recording but once that was done, he got out of his office, kicked a pillar and threw a fit. Sky immediately fired him after that. Apperently Jin had been hired and fired a bunch before the ultimate firing so he didn't take his final firing seriously until he found out that Sky wasn't going to hire him back, in which, he was very mad. I highly recommend people go watch that video as not only does Max and Ross shed light on what Sky did to them during their years working there, but it also reveals Jin's true personality outside of recording and streams before being fired. He was very cocky and one time left Ross and Tim stranded in an IHOP after work (Who at the time, didn't own a car) and they both had to end up calling Alisa (Sky's then wife and mother of their first kid) to go pick them up.

@@Jkd_77 He did go to a federal prison, a minimum security one. The only reason why he's not dead is that min security inmates usually are coming close to the end of their sentence (within the next 10 years) and would rather not get time added to their sentence and/or moved to a higher security prison for harming/killing a chomo. Most chomos are kept in minium security for this reason and would often have their own pod, away from the other inmates. If he was sent to a maximum security prison, he would most likely be dead since most of those inmates are serving life or very long sentences where getting time added onto their sentence doesn't mean a thing. To think Jin is out of jail as of last year, dating the girl he planned to meet up with and goes under a new Twitter name/account. Obviously I won't be disclosing the account names. Though in a way it doesn't matter. Because those who actually knew Jin personally found out about it all and called him and his new account out, basically causing those who despise him to swarm that account like hornets
@NotEdgyUmbre Жыл бұрын
Wait he went under a different name after getting out of jail on Twitter? That is disgusting. This does bring questions though, cause even if he's out of jail, he's now a registered sex offender, which means he will be monitored by the feds. Wouldn't they also monitor his online activity? If anything he should have been banned. So if this is true, this is concerning.
@HaneOdori Жыл бұрын
@@NotEdgyUmbre Yeah. It was Skydiesminecraft’s ex who found out about his release and the account and immediately warned everyone. I just find it even worse that he labeled himself as a furry animator/artist. Dude picked the worst community to join as an offender, they do not need those kinds of people in their community. Im also surprised he was even allowed to own anything that connects to the internet/social media as well as being allowed to contact the victim. Normally they’d have an order put on them that bans them from all of that
@NotEdgyUmbre Жыл бұрын
@@HaneOdori I just found Jin's new account and I am horrified that he is even on the internet. I am so glad Alesa gave a heads up to everyone, I even saw Max and Ross shocked at this revelation. I feel bad for the victim, they still believe that what Jin did is fine and refused to listen to others warning them about it once Jin's new account was found (which is probably the reason why their Twitter is protected now). At this point their already a legal adult so theirs nothing that can be done, I can only hope with time their able to realize the situation and rethink it and recover.
@HaneOdori Жыл бұрын
@@NotEdgyUmbre I feel bad for the victim too, I wouldn’t say she has Stockholm syndrome, but something similar seeing as she’s dating him/feels he did nothing wrong. I do hope they come to realize that Jin isn’t a good person. I never knew Max and Ross reacted to the news. I only found out Alesa’s reaction from another KZbin who released the name of Jins new account after going over what he did and what not (Also for those reading my first post and this one DO NOT WITCH HUNT THE ACCOUNT. It's so hard for me to forget this guy's. I grew up watching skydoesminecraft everyday without missing an upload. I still remember the video where Adam introduced Jinbop. I was very oblivious to anything going on outside of their channels. But when Jin was eventually arrested, I would keep coming back to look for any signs of an online presence again. I did this for a solid 2 - 2.5 months. I hate that so many of my childhood idols turned out to be major PoS.

I've heard rumors that JinBop and the girl (now of age) are actually dating now. The whole thing apparently started because the dad didn't approve of the relationship. The mother actually knows about the girl's relationship with JinBop. The whole thing blew up when the father found out about the phone sex and reported jinbop to the authorities, without the mother and the girl's approval. Now that JinBop got out of prison, they started dating. The girl just loves Jinbop that much

I remember JinBop being the first creator who got outed while I was actively subscribed to him. Like he was my favorite member of the Sky Media Crew apart from Adam. This is saying something since that had to be one of the funniest gaming groups around at the time. It absolutely sucked that what was going on behind the scenes, both in Jin and Adam's cases, was much more sinister and degenerate than what they presented.

I was just talking to someone about all of the KZbinrs I used to watch when we were like nine or ten-ish. Skydoesminecraft and Jinbop came into the conversation. I remember the sheer joy I would have whenever I watched all of the Minecraft videos they collaborated on. I grew up with not a lot of Asian role models other than my parents, so seeing Jin being fun and successful on KZbin made me feel so represented. I just never felt like I could make it out of my small and predominantly white Southern town as someone respectful because I got bullied in elementary and middle school because I was Asian. As I continued to watch more Skydoesminecraft videos and Jinbop content, I grew a little disinterested with time. I immediately lost interest when I saw Jin being put into jail because of his disgusting and abominable behavior. But when I was looking at all the articles and watching the KZbin drama videos, I felt betrayed that Jin would ever do it. I admired him so much and for him to completely manipulate his viewers-- it made me so sick to my stomach. For a very long time I honestly stopped watching Minecraft youtubers. The memories I had tied to Minecraft content got so corrupted that I just felt disgusted and ashamed that I was playing the same game a p3do played to gain the love and trust from his child-based audience. As I'm an adult now, I can somewhat un-guiltily play Minecraft and say fuck Jinbop and every horrible monster that lures innocent and vulnerable people into their hands.
