Those who have misophonia might describe it as when a sound “drives you crazy.” Their reactions can range from anger and annoyance to panic and the need to flee.

I’m Methodist and we celebrate Advent. The most common Advent candle tradition, however, involves four candles. A new candle is lit on each of the four Sundays before Christmas. Each candle represents something different, although traditions vary. The four candles traditionally represent hope, faith, joy, and peace. The middle white candle represents Christ.

Jeremy Valentine’s Day is not a government holiday…it is to commemorate St. Valentine who was a priest and during his time on earth the government outlawed marriage and he was imprisoned for consecrating marriages…he would still perform the rite of marriage from his prison cell through his window where couples would come to be married…He became a martyr for such having been killed by the government for these acts and became the Patron Saint of love..he died February 14 243

In traditional churches there is an advent wreath with five candles in it. Each candle is lit each Sunday before Christmas. The last candle in the middle of the wreath is the Christmas Candle. So from late November on.....each sunday a candle is lit. I think each candle has a name. One of the candles is the candle of hope. I grew up Lutheran with these advent wreaths in church.

I can tell you that as a union stagehand having worked for a variety of entertainment… I have been told that touring Disney acts/employees aren’t treated or compensated very well. They know they can treat them like garbage because there is never a shortage of talent in line to take their place. I’m pretty sure the parks are the same way. Everyone is replaceable. Hopefully things have changed in recent years but… I’m not hopeful. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The four candles represent the four weeks of Advent, the season of preparation for Christmas. Purple is the liturgical colour of Advent and rose (or pink) is a special colour that may be used on the 3rd Sunday of Advent (known as Gaudete Sunday meaning ‘rejoice’ from the Latin antiphon at the beginning of Mass: ‘Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice!’ (cf. Philippians 4:4-5)). In some traditions, the first candle represents prophecy (the prophecy of the birth of a Messiah in Isaiah) or hope, the second love, the third joy, and the fourth peace (sometimes known as the angels’ candle after the angels which appeared singing ‘Glory to God in the highest and peace to men of goodwill’). Sometimes a fifth white candle is added in the centre of the wreath. This is lit on Christmas Eve to mark the coming of Christ the Light.

Yes, Saint Valentine is a real Orthodox Saint from only a few centuries after Christ, but he's not commemorated on February 14, but rather in July 6. The reason he's commercialized on Feb 14 is because of pagan fertility days - as we should recognize by now, paganism contorts and commercializes all Christian Holy days. He is a martyr for Christ which means he died for his faith, so he deserves the proper recognition at bare minimum ☦️

Advent wreath is a Catholic tradition five candles on the wreath three pink one purple and one white each week before Christmas a candle is lit representing one week hope next week peace next week joy then love representing the four weeks of the season coming up to Christmas on Christmas Eve the White Candle is lit called Christ’s Candle representing Our Savior’s lighting our life with his birth…just as Valentine’s Day is a Catholic holiday… St. Patrick’s Day…Marci Gras of course the day before Ash Wednesday Fat Tuesday in French before we begin our fasting season of lent..I know you had previously spoke poorly on Catholicism but how can you when you are so unaware of our belief system..just as you may revere the teachings and authors of theology we too revere our priests or martyrs for Christ we call them Saints
