I've been a Journey fan since the 70s (I'm 61 now), and this is in my top 10 of all time. It wrenches my heart because it's how I feel about my husband. He's in the Army and gone an awful lot (the most recent was Italy for 3 years) and he still makes my heart skip a beat.

I'm 62 and when I got a tape player in 1978 the first tape I bought was Journey Infinity and have been hooked since then. When my daughter was 12 I was taking her and 3 friends to a party and Open Arms comes on the radio when I hear all 4 singing along with the song. Fast forward 20 years and the same thing happened with my granddaughter (she was 7). His music is not only universal but also timeless.

Please listen to I Stand Alone, a solo by Steve Perry. It's part of the soundtrack from Disney movie Quest for Camelot, and Steve even had a role of the voice of the King in the movie. One of my favorites by him.
