That's it, same here, Sis...a lifestyle change. We have to change how we treat our body, and moderation. I exercise daily (cardio with light strength/resistance for now due my high weight), the weight is dropping, I'm wearing clothes I haven't been able to wear in years. My husband is getting jealous...trying to keep me in the house, he doesn't even want me on the porch, it's cute! We have to listen, watch and be guided by our body...what works for one may not work for another. I started out building, but I wasn't pleased with the speed of my weight loss (very slowly). So, I adjusted/switched things around, and once I reach my goal weight (140lbs), then l will begin to build. I hope this helps at least one, if not many. 💚🙏🏽!

I felt like crying when I saw "cortisol" listed. I was diagnosed with severe allergies, and spent the last couple of years getting angioedema each time I had accidental exposure (one of the allergens is wheat, and it's in darn everything), and was given emergency cortisone shots each time, so my weight went for a toss. Your channel has been a godsend and an inspiration. Hopefully your workouts and a decent diet will make things better
@enemanozzle3 жыл бұрын
You will never be able to relieve any allergy by a diet, this due to the origin of every allergy. A book in German written for medical students describes this in the following manner: In any case there will arise an allergy when an allergene coming from the outside will meet an antigene in the human body. Every antigene is coupled with a toxin that the concerned person has absorbed from the outside, in the most cases with the food. When you will be able to eliminate a toxin from the human body completely, the belonging allergy will disapperar simultaneously. So you will have to detoxify your body to relieve all your allergies. It is well known, that the most efficient remedy to detoxify the human body is swallowing castor oil in a regular manner. I know upon this from my own experience for in this manner I have lost all my allergies: My dermatologist had me given up and he was really astonished when he saw me later completely cured!

Me too! But if you’re like me and overthinks absolutely everything, try to keep things the most simple ways. Don’t rush into places or do things that will make your anxiety go up high, don’t care about anyone else’s opinions (especially when these are negative or comes from your relatives/friends) and buy yourself food that you know you might enjoy but is also good for you (in my case I experiment with different types of teas and frozen fruits/veggies for my juices). I hope it helps a little bit, stay strong! You can do this!! 💪🏻✨

Switching from primarily cardio to weight lifting helped me a lot - maybe some bodies are more geared towards one of these and everyone would need to experiment on both. Personally I believe in the non-exercise activity (NEAT) factor playing a massive role in healthy weight - recovering muscles adding bonus burning to all our daily activities even sitting at a computer. Perhaps cardio as second priority after a weight lifting focus is massively ideal - multiplying the burn of the cardio with recovering muscles and vice versa. But if skipping cardio days, the weights seem helpful. Not to forget yoga as well for deeper structural recovery and foam rolling to remove toxins and potential muscle scarring & trigger points from subtle repetitive and impact injuries - recent or even years ago still affecting the body today in at-least subtle ways we may not always notice like imbalances. Crunches are GREAT for core strength and ab sculpting BUT not good for fat loss and the fat really has to be lost with very gradual consistent strength training and proper unprocessed foods focus diet that's very protein and veggies focused. Strong core makes the entire game better, but the core exercises still target the entire body not just the belly. However, gains can be targeted and often don't have to look like a dehydrated body-builder on stage either - that's a pretty unhealthy practice for extra definition visuals for cameras heavy dry fasting days before a shoot.

Thank you for these videos. They give me tips on how to lose weight efficiently but also focus not on short term weight loss, but actual physical health. I find we are usually encouraged to focus on weight, not health, which gives us the wrong goal. Health can be achieved at any size and is a lifestyle. Weight loss is a short term goal which can often harm our bodies if we go about it the wrong ways. By teaching us how to stay healthy in a good lifestyle and /in the process/ lose weight, you're really helping a lot of people who don't know where to turn. Thank you so much!!! 💕💕💕

This was amazing video! No one explained it like this. Honestly, This is me... I’m in my late 20’s and I was like where on earth did I gain belly weight!? I also went back to school to pursue more courses and an MBA. So my stress level was high and I also work. I’ve started taking Ashwagandha since it helps cortisol. I’ve noticed a difference as I’m more calmer. I also made a mistake on limiting my food as people were saying intermit fasting is good. I couldn’t do it. So the proportion eating is much better idea. I’ve been strength training and doing HITT. It made a difference in my butt and legs. I was always upset why my belly never went down. Now I will try this and come back to update in a month!

okay first off. stop doing crunches and shit so often its not going to reduce belly fat. you need to calculate a calorie deficit for your self based on age, height, weight, sex. look it up. for instance im 190 pounds 5’10” and 24 Years old, my calorie consumption is a total of 2000 cals a day, putting me at a roughly 1000 calorie deficit everyday. at a deficit of that level you will lose 2 pounds or more a week if you eating proper and exercising (weightlifting and cardio) dont just do cardio, youll burn away muscle if its all you do. best advice i can give. good luck.

Hi Joanna, I have mid foot arthritis and my knees are bad due to osteoarthritis. I do strength training 3 times a week... with a professional trainer. I have problems doing squats and lunges. I can however manage to go leg extensions and leg press.I also do Machine squats and calf strengthening but with lower weights than what I previously did. Free squats and lunges look difficult right now. I had stopped working out for 6 months due to foot arthritis and peri menopausal flushes and depression. However I realized that not exercising is certainly not the way out of the pain so I've started weight training. I do dead lifts, chest press, lat pull etc.... My main issue is with cardio. I'm unable to really walk on the treadmill,or walk on the road ( I initially used to walk for 5 kms every day, stopped due to my knee and foot pain). elliptical and cyber I can manage for a short while. I try and cycle but it's slower to burn calories. I'm a Egetarian... so protein eating is also An issue. I was very fond of trekking in the Himalayas, my morning walks etc. I'm 52 and My weight is now going up v fast. My knees and feet kill me .. and I often feel low and worried about how long I can continue. Can you help? What cardio option do I have ? do you suggest yoga to lose weight ,so that I reduce the load on my legs. Thanking you for all the previous videos which have motivated many a time.

I was watching this on the bus and some lady told me in broken English "You're so pretty! Don't worry! But you should drink more water! Too pale" That makes me feel better about my body but not about my natural skin tone XD

You go to the gym 6 days a week? I struggle to get there 3-4 times; however I do mixed strength and cardio each time with about 45 minutes of cardio and switching up strength. I started last June and notice a big difference. However, I started very slowly! At 53 it is not easy to change your ways! Pain is not a fun thing to have to overcome. Recently, I have challenged myself to fit in as many superfoods as possible in one day, even if its only adding tablespoon of chia and of flax and a tiny amount of pumpkin seeds, walnuts, craisins and Himalayan pink salt in my buckwheat cereal, etc. I love to find new ways to add superfoods to my diet, even if it is very small amounts at a time. Different dark green slaw salads have helped. My inflammation has decreased dramatically! I made some kombucha with my daughter recently and next I am going to try making my own small quart size jar of sauerkraut. It's not my favorite, but I hear it is so very good for you, especially helpful with digestion! Love your videos, they are really inspirational and helped me start this journey to health. Thanks! :-)

I wanted to share my experience with this problem. My tummy stayed bloated all the time due to a hormonal imbalance i was suffering from. Two months back i decided to give up all soft drinks for the sake of my health and i couldn't believe what i saw happening before my eyes! I saw my stomach debloat gradually and is now so much reduced in size! Also, once or twice when i gave in and drank a soft drink my stomach got bloated again until it restored its previous state in a few days!! Don't know what is the science behind it, probably cutting the sugar helped but please try this! And see if it helps you! Much love!

Poor diet, lack of exercise, and stress are all factors that contribute to belly fat. Nutritional modifications, increased activity, and other lifestyle changes can all assist. What causes stubborn stomach fat? Belly fat causes 1. Unhealthy eating habits 2. Alcoholism 3. Inactivity 4. Stress 5. Genetics 6. Sleep problems 7. Smoking #letstalkhealthtv #health #weightloss

I’d like to add: don’t keep junk foods in the house. If it’s not available you can’t eat it and if you just gotta have it you’ll have to drag yourself to get dressed, get in the car and go get it. If you made the effort to get your junk ONLY get ONE of whatever it is in a small size not the family size. Eat it and be done with it then move on. Don’t make it a habit. Works for me...could be I’m too lazy to drive when I get cravings?😂

My family and I are doing a low calorie high protein diet that speeds the metabolism by us drinking protein shakes every 2 hours, eating fruit or nuts in between each, with one healthy meal a day and my dad has lost over 20 pounds in 2 weeks, and I have lost 6 (I have been also following these workout routines) which is a lot for my size and age. Anyone wanting to lose weight fast, try this diet and do her workouts👌

if you eat a lot of salty/sugary and processed food, your face (as well as the rest of your body) stores a lot of water which makes your body appear fuller. If that is the case you will see a big difference in your face after a short time once you stop eating this kind of food and eat more natural food and drink water instead of soda. Another factor is your whole body fat percentage. If you are overweight, it can most likely be seen in your face as well. In this case the only way to achieve a slimmer face is losing weight in general. Drinking a lot of water, eating healthy fats (like avocado, nuts ect.) and vegetables/fruits makes your skin more elastic which might also make your face appear slimmer. You can also try to massage your face in order to stimulate blood circulation, which also thightens your skin and can slimm down your face. Those are all tips I can think of. The combination of all of them worked for me, I hope you finde them helpful ;)

I would like to add that oversleeping is also bad for you. When you oversleep the quality of your sleep reduces, so you will constantly be tired without understanding why. (Although different people need different amounts of sleep)

I love ❤️ the way you explain this issue. I've been in menopause for about 20yrs and never wanted to take hormone replacement medications. you mentioned that low estrogen equals belly fat. I do carry lots of body fat in my belly. Do you think if I make the lifestyle changes you mentioned and "start hormone replacement" will that help me more on loosing belly fat?.
