I’m so glad I found this video! I’ve become so frustrated lately. I started Keto which is a drastic change in my diet! Drinking a gallon of water a day and while friends who started this at the same time have lost 20+ pounds in the first 30 days I’ve only lost about 8 😣. I’ve been very strict on my diet so couldn’t figure it out. Last night I only slept 3 hours and suddenly I realized I’m not getting enough sleep. I found this video and you just helped me get a better understanding of the science behind it! I will now incorporate a more structured sleep pattern and hopefully that will give me the results I’ve been hoping for. Thank you!

I work early hours in the morning so I'm usually in bed by 9pm. I put an alarm on my phone to remind me to go to sleep. Lately I have been sleeping really late and on the weekends I sleep in till lunch time and I wake up very tired. My weight has plateaued and I find myself craving for chocolate and junk food. I finally understand why I feel the way I do now, so thank you for confirming what I already kinda knew. I will turn my phone off early and just go to bed at 9pm and get back to that well rested place I used to be in.

Oh gosh, you are basically describing me! My problem is that I get a “second wind” when it should be bedtime and I don’t want to go to bed! I’ve been staying up until 1am for the last several months and every morning, I regret it! I was actually tired enough to go to bed at 10pm last night. I don’t feel better yet, but I think that’s because I have months of sleep to catch up on 😴 My weight is out of control so I am really going to try to convince myself to stick with the earlier bedtime. Great video, thanks! Xx

Unrelated to the topic, and I'm new here. I just started working out, and I've been able to keep at it for more than 3 weeks now. Longest I've ever been able to do so. I want to continue doing it, but I have cervical spondylosis and CTS so its a bit hard for me to find the right workout plan. I've watched a lot of videos to mix and match what I can do without causing injury, but I'm afraid of not being able to attain a full body workout to lose weight and build muscle strength... I hope you can make a video about this, even if its not the actual workout....

I have been tracking my sleep lately and I sleep normally around 9 to 10 hours a night but even if I sleep so long my deep sleep is not as regular as for people who sleep shorter hours. I go to bet sometime around 20.30 to 21.30 and wake up sometime around 6 to 7 in the morning every day even on the weekends. I know I need to put away my computer an hour before I go to bed but it is hard. Is there something more I can do to increase my deep sleep?

How do I put this now? :( I'm an international student, that is stuck in my home country because Australia refused to open borders for students to go back in. Due to the time difference between Australia and Nigeria (my home country), the day in Australia is night in Nigeria. Hence, I usually have my lectures (online) from 12am at midnight to 4am in the morning. How exactly am I supposed to get enough sleep to get fit? That's why I'm always stressed 😫
