Rogan is also really pedantic too and has some type of OCD thing about being "literal". For example, if someone said "Wow I haven't seen you in a million years", Rogan would say, "well not a million years, that would be impossible... but I agree it has been a while". Very weird trait for a "comedian".

Craig is being facetious - and to some extent humble - about his motivation and discipline. He's obviously super disciplined and motivated to be as good as he is at jiujitsu, but I think he understands that lifting weights is either going to marginally improve his performance or it's going to be time and energy taken away from learning more jiujitsu skills - plus it's probably not something he's passionate about - so he just doesn't do it. Danaher mentioned his philosophy on physical training JRE MMA #111 at 2:00:00, and I'm pretty sure Craig follows the same philosophy.
