Comedians of the past used to call out authority and those that hold power. But the current generation stopped doing that, because like i said they are cowards, and instead punch down and try to gain favor with those in power. there are still a few good comedians out there that are fighting the good fight while providing good entertainment, but the profession has been saturated in recent years by alot of hacks that ruin the occupation.
