I dated a girl when I was 17 for a couple years. She was my first serious girlfriend and also my first. Like most young relationships, we broke it off. Even though she lived in the same town as me, after the night we broke up, I never ran into her again. For years I always wondered what happened to her. Then out of the blue, 20 years later she texted me. I was so happy to have reconnected with her after so long. We decided to meet up. It was then, I remembered why we broke things off. She was very annoying and didn't stop talking. It was like she was still a teenager. Ghost!

Just do not isolate yourself, try to befriend people I did the wrong things and wasted away on my computer It becomes a place of solace that traps you and does not want to let go and if YOU do not put a stop to it nobody else can, others can only try to help The longer you stay there the tighter the grip becomes and the more you will miss it when you're trying to shake it off

I also advise kids nowadays to try to get a job where you can work from home that way you can live wherever you want and there's no better freedom than working for yourself which a lot of times can't happen
@8jaime8 Жыл бұрын
@Arthur Fonzarelli Young people today are way more isolated and lonely than kids in 70s/80s/90s - before social media. They are inundated with dopamine-hijacking’s virtual ‘contact’ with others, rather than actually meeting in person. Day to day they’re over 50% less likely to go out and meet with friends, to go to parties, or to date. Teens are also far less likely to have a job of any sort, so those are yet more hours spent alone at home. The last thing most kids need is to spend more time sitting at home alone, glued to a computer. Working from home can be a great option for fully-fledged adults, but the vast majority of young people would be better off working with others face-to-face. They need to get out in the real world as much as possible, mixing with others and having adventures.

Narcissistic women are known for being terrible to ride in the car with. Specifically complaining about not wanting to hear a song or chewing too loud are also classic controlling behaviors. If he was so bothered by her in the car that he faked a call with a friend to get rid of her, that is really saying something about how low this girl was.

It's hard to find the right one. Some find one out of nowhere and get lucky. Some find them decades later. Some get abused. Some get cheated on. Some people die before they find the right one. I feel people see relationships as a fantasy. Like once you find someone, everything will be smooth sailing. Not saying there aren't good people out there. But it seems rare to find a good balanced relationship. Especially when you're in your twenties and thirties. And a lot of people don't even try to learn about having a healthy relationship. They just wing it. Which seems to be a big reason they fail.

I had a girlfriend pretend her mother was coming over for a weekend and she didnt have time to see me, she was even talking to me like "oh yea we are about to go get food in a min talk to you later!" turns out she and her mother hadnt spoken in like 10 years, I found all this out years later when I caught her in a lie about it.

I was head over heels for this one girl when I was 19 but either I had a girl, or dated her friends, or either she had a man and it never worked out. We reconnected when I was 35....hell no. She wasn't the same girl. She became annoying. She had become the type of girl that would drink too much and then heckle comedians.

I (a female) dated a guy once who was so disgusting. When we would go out to eat, he would always lick the top of the ketchup and hot sauce bottles after using them, having no respect for the people who would use them after us. One night at a restaurant he even pulled a HUGE piece of chicken fat out of his front teeth, gave it a good look, then put it back in his mouth and ate it. It made me so sick, I actually threw up later on when I got back home because I couldn't get it out of my head. He would also always fart really loud and they would sound wet and sloshy every single time. His butthole ALWAYS sounded wet when he would fart. And his breath constantly reeked of the literal smell of a rotting rat. Yes....I know what a rotting rat smells like. There was one behind my dryer. Anyway, sorry to talk bad aboit him behind his back, but then again, I don't feel bad because he was a terrible human being. I dated him at the time because I thought I didn't deserve better because my dad taught me I was a worthless piece of crap and I believed it for years, therefore resulted in me dating a man who didn't respect me. Dated him for 6 terrible long months and when I broke up with him, he harassed me and started going crazy. Starting punching himself in the face, punched his own penis, banged his head against the car window and felt so miserable he started asking other men to beat the shit out of him because he wanted to feel that pain. Then wrote "poems" about all his guy friends girlfriends calling them all whores and hoes in his poems and posted them on Facebook. I still feel horrified I lost my virginity to him when I was 22. But I am the only one to blame. It was my stupidity that caused me to date such a bad person.

They're talking about Mitzi shore. Pauly Shore's Mom. She owned and ran the comedy store for decades. She died relatively recently. Within the last 5-10 years or so.
@mneugent7658 Жыл бұрын
@@MisticStyles You sure? Did you see the earlier parts of the podcast? Mitzi was very cute but I got the feeling they were talking about a comic. Mitzi is the all-time curator of the modern comedian. But I have a hard time seeing Rogan refer to her in any way other than motherly or at least much older sisterly.

3:12 I have a friend from college exactly like that. She is strong, very rigid, accomplished & smart woman with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence. She is also extremely annoying because of her rigid beliefs & unwillingless to show real emotions or vulnerablity. I drove with her on a trip and decided never again :D Obviously she has a very hard timing dating. I hope she changes or else she's gonna be a crazy lonely cat lady.
