Lived all over the States growing up. Some cities had equipment to handle the snow and other cities weren’t. Just depended on the the type and amount of heavy equipment the city had to deal with the snow….together with spreading tons and tons of sand and salt after it was plowed. Otherwise the snow would build right back up. I miss the snowy days. I haven’t seen snow in forever
@davidsnyder2000 Жыл бұрын
But living up North with them salting the roads to make snow melt just absolutely rotted out brand new cars within a couple years. Car manufacturers aught to be made to corrosion protect cars that are sold up North. Especially when your paying $40,000-100,000!for a car or truck now days 🤷♂️

Damn, I miss living in Connecticut. My dad used to throw a big Plow thing on the front of his old school Chevy and we’d shovel snow from 4:30am to 8am every single day. When I turned 15 my dad gave me the truck and I took over his business. I drove all over Glastonbury in the early hours wearing a carhart coat and a beanie with my bestfriend that lived up the road pushing snow off the street and out of my clients drive ways. I ended up hiring 2 dudes I went to school with to hop into the truck bed with snow shovels so I could charge an extra $100 a week to shovel the sidewalks all the way up to the front door. It was insane how much work we did and how much money I made before I even turned 18. I ended up buying a Zero Turn mower and a battery operated weed wacker and me and the same dudes would mow the grass for almost every house and I even had a contract with target and Kmart in Hartford. It only stopped when I was 20 because some drunk T boned me at 5am and since the truck wouldn’t pass emissions I didn’t even have insurance or registration and I just used the tag off my personal truck I had hooked up with magnets to be east to change. My buddy Sam was launched out of the truck bed and broke 4 ribs and a vertebrae in his neck. I had a broken arm and broken leg and 3 broken ribs all on the one side. We couldn’t even sue because I was driving illegal as shit so my buddies parents sued me because he was 17. Alllllll the money I had saved was wiped out in an instant and I was still making payments for 2 years. Joey just brought all that back when he talked about the snow plow 😂
