Here’s two respectable strong men, talking about a sensitive subject. I appreciate this video for young men who’ve had similar experiences and feel alone or too embarrassed to talk about it.

These predators are despicable. As a straight guy who isn't like that, I love talking to kids and interacting with them. I have a nephew who I love to death. But you can't even say "hi" to a kid these days without seeming suspicious. These freaks are causing a change in our culture. You can see that more men are just unable to interact with kids because there's always that thought that someone is going to accuse you of something. It's a sad state of affairs for everybody that these people exist.

you’re right. this can be a rough topic for anybody who understands the stress, but it’s really cool we’ve got people who are aware and open i know my heart still races even just thinking. the truth of what happened is far fetched, but i shouldn’t have to be scared of talking about it like i am. maybe i should take notes or something
@Chibikins
@Chibikins 2 жыл бұрын
@@pegasusrichards In my experience, sometimes it really is a matter of practice. Sometimes even just saying it out loud to yourself or to your pets or writing it out can help you lessen your anxiety so that when you are ready you know better how and what to say. It can be incredibly healing just to hear yourself say it and get to feel that you survived it and are actually safe now, and you realize that you can revisit it to work on the trauma and it can't hurt you anymore. Good luck.

I was molester by a family member most would never expected it from. It caused a lot of issues as I grew up. Family basically treated me like a liar or I just needed to get over it. A boy that was a lot older then me rapped me twice when I was 8. I guess he found a way to mess with my head and get me in a situation I didn't want be in but was too young to understand it all specifically after the incident with my family member at 5 years old. It took a while for me to feel okay about myself, even typing this out is scary as hell. I became a Marine and basically became a man after that and worked my shit out. I am sorry you experienced that Joe Rogan. Sincerely dude it sucks and I am sorry both of you dealt with that shit.

Man this conversation makes me love my Dad even more. Same thing literally happened to me back when I was kid (12yrs old). A dude (30yrs old) who I thought had really cool swag all of a sudden invited me to his house to "hang out"... Call it God, but as soon as I went into his front yard I saw my Dad in my peripheral SPRINTING towards me yelling: *"Boy get yo ass away from that faggot"* 😂😂😂 God I love my dad. Every once in a while I think to myself, what could've been if that day escalated?... This society is filled with so many predatory messed up people just freely walking the streets.

Seeing them openly talk about it makes me feel a lot more relieved with my own experiences. It’s scary how it happened to nearly everybody; mostly in young ages. I went to a city that I’ve never been in before with my parents, in a holiday. I loved football back then. We went in a park and i found a couple of friends who were into football as well. I don’t know how it happened, but suddenly we were too many and some adults were playing with us, too. One of them was a football teacher and he was in his late 20s. He showed a strange interest towards me and tried to learn me tricks and stuff. He complained me a lot and i was really happy about it. Then, suddenly, i noticed that he would hug me when i scored a goal or do good. I was 13 but I STILL didn’t know what was going on. He suggested me to go play together and some other weird stuff. Then i found out that this guy is off. I hate football since then.

Am I going to take your word for it, or someone I KNOW was always getting arrested or kicked out of school for gangbanging and fighting. I think the answer is simple. Bravo 👏 men have to talk about this more. We need to normalize the idea that this doesn’t only happen to little girls, and that many men are effected by these issues too. Period! And normalize too that Adult Women are capable of this too... I find it strange and perverse that we, as adults, find it okay to sexualize Adult Women having sex with children- especially Pre-Teens/Teenagers. Adam Sandler even made a movie about it (called That’s My Boy!) in 2012 and actually had the 16 year old actor (who was playing a TWELVE year old) simulating sex with the adult 27 year old actress who played the teacher (whose supposed be in her 20s)... fucking disturbing.. *cough* Madonna ....

Even if jokingly. And that’s the problem .. if we truly want equality, then we have stop leaving the damage to Men out of the question. I know women are more trustworthy but they still do fucked up shit and it is barely talked about... and no I’m not talking about booty shorts or being “sexy””.... women are humans. Men are humans. We’re all capable of doing toxic and evil shit.

Wish my story could have ended like these. Obviously unfortunately it didn't. The only one thing that probably keeps me somewhat sane is the fact that sometimes the sexual assaulted turns into the predator But if I have only one soul purpose on this planet is to make sure the chain of evil and pain ends with me. If your going through it right now reach out to someone, and definitely get some professional help as well.

When I was 9 or 10 I had a similar run in. My family was shopping at the south shore plaza in Braintree, MA and I sat outside a big department store as I didn’t want to be around my sisters who were dress shopping. A man and woman approach me, and to quote Joey Diaz here, “the energy wasn’t right”. They asked me who I was with, where they were and then grabbed me by the wrist. Luckily I was a corpulent youngster and pulling me was a chore and I able to push away the rag the woman tried to place on my mouth. They gave me a look of distain and hurried away as I ran off. Monsters exist, be vigilant people.

That's crazy man. I saw something on TV not too long ago, it was Will Smith's wife, what's her name? Jada Pink Eye or something yeah? Well it was like a 60 Minutes type of a deal that was bringing attention to the huge number of youngsters being abducted from shopping mall car parks by groups, or gangs of men who were snatching these poor kids away into suv's or mini-vans. It was a thing, so much so that Jada did this documentry type of a deal to make people aware. You just can't be too careful now these days, NEVER let your kids out of your sight.

When I was a kid I was by myself at the middle school kicking a ball around practicing soccer, it was around 7. This red pick-up truck pulls up to the side of the field right next to where I was. There was two guys in the truck and the guy on the passenger side rolled down his window. I can't remember what he said but it was enough to spook me out enough to want to leave the situation so as soon as he said it I picked up my ball and crossed the field to where there was a family sitting on a bench. I waited for the truck to pull away from the school then went down this path next to the field that lead to the main shopping area in out town and then walked home. Within the next few days there was an Amber alert in my area saying a kid had gone missing and they were looking for a red GMC pickup truck. I never knew if it was the same guys but it still freaked me out.

Wow I had such a similar story, I was in the 8th grade, mexican in a very small town wich was like 95% white people. I wanted to go to the park or something so I walked from my grandmas house to a park that was about a 8 minuet walk away. I was walking and I was about half way and then a older red truck comes up fast and just stops and I looked and the window was rolled down, there was two white guys around 18-21 and the one in the passenger says something to me and I have no clue what he said but I know it wasn’t good and he had a smile on his face also. I was so scared, a lone kid with no one to witness or protect me, then thank God the truck just drives away and I start fast walking to my house trying to be in public eye if possible and I just got home as fast as I can

I had a buddy who’s neighbor would smoke weed with him some times when we were like 16 and he was like 45-50 and came off very odd. First time I met him he gave us a shit ton of free candy and snacks and asked us to come back anytime. He stopped one of my friends and asked him to come back alone some time. This friend was easily seen to be vulnerable due to the fact he carried himself in a way, didn’t have the best home life growing up. He goes over there alone and they guy says he’ll give him a bunch of free weed if he lets him suck his dick. He apparently ran out of there and broke the door on the way out.

When I was like 14-15, I was hitchhiking while riding my skateboard to meet up with a friend a few miles away. Some guy stopped in a truck so obviously I took the ride like an idiot. I got in and he looked like a normal guy in his mid 30s but something just felt off, I can't really explain it. He said he had to make a quick stop to meet a client on the way and after he did, I was starting to relax a bit once he was back on the road. He was just asking me normal stuff then he said something like "So, you don't seem too worried about hitchhiking, probably got people worried if they try anything you're gonna hit them with that skateboard right?" so I told him"yeah, I guess..." and just kinda ignored it. Once we were getting towards the location, he turned down another road and said "Just need to make one more stop right down this road then I'll drop you off." My gut sank and as he was slowing down and turning, I grabbed for a knife but didn't show it then used my other hand opened the door. I said "I'll just walk from here" as he slowed down on the turn. I started getting out of the car while it was still moving with my skateboard under my arm as he pulled over to the side. I managed to not fall jumping from a moving vehicle but definitely stumbled a bit as he stopped next to me. I still had a knife hidden but was ready for a confrontation when he just looked at me and kept saying "Are you sure you wanna walk? Are you sure? Are you sure? It'll take me just a second..." I just said I was fine because my destination was only like a quarter mile away. He got real serious all the sudden and said "Be more careful hitchhiking, you never know who's gonna pick you up and maybe they won't let you leave next time. Seriously kid, maybe next time you won't make it out in time. Btw that little pocket knife you think you're hiding is only gonna piss someone off, it won't save you and neither will that skateboard..." then he just started laughing and drove away. Don't know if he was crazy or was maybe just fucking with me or actually was trying to kidnap me but I'm glad I jumped out of that truck when I had the opportunity! I'll still pick up hitchhikers but don't remember hitchhiking myself again after that.

@Blunt_Man
@Blunt_Man 4 жыл бұрын
@@fox2569 In the states, unless you're living in the city, there's a lot of open space. People frequently work like 30-45 mins driving distance from where they live. Well it's normally guys with DUIs who you'll see walking around at like 3-5PM trying to get home from work. I'm usually pretty good at being able to judge people and if they're hitchhiking and come off as normal, I'll give them a ride if they going my way. Usually they're just normal people with no license cuz of DUIs and they're so thankful, they almost always end up giving me some weed or money or something for the ride. Almost always was an alcoholic too. There's been lots of people I didn't stop for too, all depends on my gut feeling and if anything feels off, I'm not risking it but if I can tell it's just some drunk who's trying to get home from work quicker, that's different. Hitchhiking really started as something where in the 50s and 60s people weren't all that worried about their neighbors but after Ted Bundy, people got paranoid about it. Guess for me, I'll usually size the guy up and it's not uncommon for me to also have a friend or 2 in the car with me. If he did try something, there'd be people coming at him with knives or maybe even a gun from all sides... Not saying it's not risky, guess I'm just someone who likes helping others when I can and I'm not that scared of something happening but so far I've been lucky in terms of who I've stopped for. In my teens, people gave me rides all the time hitchhiking and except for that 1 time, it was just normal, helpful people. Honestly I'm just trying to pay it forward to the next man now that I got my license and a car. Anytime I've been to Europe, I've noticed people tend to think it's weird for strangers to even talk to them. I think a lot of it just comes from the culture difference where Americans lots of times are very helpful and friendly even with people they don't know. Not saying I haven't met people like that in Europe but they were just a different type of helpful and friendly.

It was a rainy night in 94, some friends and I were in the park late playing in the wooded section of the playground. I remember the feeling of horror as we sat silent and looked into the woods as we heard sticks breaking to the sound of heavy footsteps. We all froze looking, rain running down my face and I remember the guy with the white hoodie that stepped out of the woods and yelled "IM GONNA GET ONE OF YA'S" I dropped from the tree branch I was on and ran like I had never before. All I could hear was his heavy breathing as he chased after, and I remember I was going so fast I felt confident to look back as I neared a street in a close by neighborhood and to my horror he was right on my heels, I continued running until I saw a family going inside with the porch light on and yelled for them to WAIT! And the dad turns and starts running after this guy enough to scare him off, they called my mom and I was home safe soon after. I'm glad he chased me because I was the fastest of all the kids there and I hate to think what would have happened had he went after one of the girls. To this day we never saw him again. For instance if you a gay you only like guys and are born that way they can't help it straight people are attracted to opposite sex they can't help that as they are born that way and peadofiles like kids and they can't help that I would imagine. This whole abuse thing is a sick cycle. Abusers teach lonely kids that the only way they can get attention is by offering their bodies, which is a terrible lesson to learn. As they grow older, they either yearn for someone to control them or to control others, to share themselves physically, because something went wrong in a fundamental step in their development. I have known many people, male and female who struggle(d) with this. It's hard to break the cycle because others like them sense their weakness and home in.
