Work as an emt in boulder and I can attest to what Diaz said, homeless still commit the crimes to get out of the cold and we deal with homeless bussed in from California all the time. I met a girl from Boulder, Colorado in New Orleans, and she told me that she had no money, so she was going back to Boulder to commit a minor crime, This way, she would be sent to jail in Boulder, where she could spend the Winter.
