UFC 298 Volkanovski vs Topuria took place recently and Joe Rogan was working the commentary during Neal vs Garry too. This is my reaction to him being completely unprofessional and biased mentioning calf kicks and steel cups, let me know what you guys think in the comments below.

Bro called the fans booing halls like 80th failed imanari spam mouth breathers and Jon anik hilariously mentioned how glad he was to have joe rogans unique insight on the commentary to decipher what was occurring after joe just would not shut tf up about how good hall which imo seemed like probably a passive aggressive dig at joe by Jon. Another really hilarious example is actually topuria vs Mitchell. Ilia lights Bryce up on the feet and drops him, immediately follows him to the ground ofc because he’s not gaethje and joe is like immediately acting as if ilia has made this fatal mistake following Bryce to the ground, meanwhile ilia proceeds to literally pancake Bryce as if he’s a defenseless toddler and snatch up an arm triangle while manhandling him into the finishing position lol.

the UFC want Ian to be a big name/fighter and they want him to be a hyped up title fight. just wait, i'm sure he will close sketchy decision his way another win and end up in a title fight when he def doesn't deserve one. also, people tend to not notice that the fighters that make sense for the popularity of fights etc win more than not. The UFC is like the WWE people just don't see it and we don't have concrete proof of how deep the rabbit hole is but nothing would surprise me. between judges scoring often being atrocious to actual fighters looking like they're purposely throwing fights. all athletes sign non-disclosure agreements so who knows what they are told to do etc. even if it would be technically illegal. the world is a corrupt place and people glance over things too easily.

Dont forget him saying "neck crank" when they cant get the rear naked choke under the chin. 99% of the time its not a neck crank, its just smashing their face, a strong guy will submit you with RNC anywhere below the eyebrows but lets not pretend its an technical submission.

@@symh2813what the do you mean ? Are you saying a neck crank is all about smashing the opponents face if so that is true puts pressure on the spine so you can twist or push and it’s a easier submission and it’s actually very technical because if you fuck it up then your fucked because you either paralyzed a man or killed him
@symh2813
@symh2813 3 ай бұрын
@@mrheadtaker3312 No, I'm saying that Joe often thinks its a neck crank when it isn't. Neck cranks are very real and are illegal in BJJ comps because they're so dangerous, instant disqualification, but legal in the UFC. Neck crank is a loose term but generally it involves twisting the head or levering the head backwards, both can put serious pressure on neck. Joe often yells out "neck crank" when its actually a rear naked choke that's across the face, which is also a very real submission, BJJ pros tap to it all the time and it gets put down officially as a rear naked choke. Crushes your face, super painful, a solid reason to tap. Joe just seems to like yelling out neck crank.

Anyone following the no-gi scene realizes that the sport has taken a 180 degree turn into a hybrid wrestling-submission sport (with emphasize on the wrestling). Usually, the MMA jiujitsu-guys lack all the wrestling and think they can simply shoot for single legs and hope for the best. It's insane.
