I'm new to PC and bought a prebuilt. I knew it wasn't the most cost effective way to get into the hobby but I hate wire maintenance, there was a warranty and software that will help me maintain my PC

Enjoy it man, PC gaming is the best. I'd recommend using MSI afterburner and monitoring you CPU and GPU to make sure nothing is being choked by heat.

please do built one yourself i know is daunting and you'll fear of breaking something but it's simple as can be! just be very careful with the slots of the GPU, RAM and installing the CPU to the difference of AMD (all but the new AM5) but intel's CPU's are "less" scary as the pins are on the mobo, while AM4 had the pins on the CPU i bent and killed a few CPU's money down the drain i cri 😭 just check how the RAM is slotted in to if you don't have to unlock both dim slots and your fine!

Awesome, now do the upgrades yourself!!! I have been building pc's for 30 years now, and it has only gotten easier!!! So many tutorials on KZbin!!! Once you start, you will be hooked!!! Also, you can make a little money on the side helping others with their rigs!!!

Just looking at the guys channel (which I'm thankful you put in your descriptions btw) I can tell they're just in it for quantity (dosh) over quality. The amount of content differs quite a bit too; and most of it is shorts because yeah, why wouldn't it be? But yeah, it's hard to believe low effort arguments and channels like this still exist. Nothing wrong with wanting to own and enjoy a console but holy shit, literally every single "fact" on their list was wrong in some way. And I'd argue the biggest sin outside of those facts is the AI generated version of Jon Bailey-- I guess it's far and away better than some of the other options.

Building PC's is fun but scary at first i get it to when your stumped you literally don't got excuses you have all sorts of options of guides *yes reddit being one of them!* and the manual's of the mobo will save you and like just be careful & not aggressive while slotting the CPU, GPU & RAM and you'll mostly be fine! but DOA part do happen, can't escape that followed by lil new PC gamers oops when building PC No.1 but you live & learn!

"game just works" psst that console port of PUBG surely did "work" but did some chugging. Surely this person googled or something these things before hand right... RIGHT!? can imagine a follow up..... Oh yes. More expensive. My workplace just got a new computer and sold the old ones. I got a €10 PC with an intel i5-4570, 8gb ram and a 500gb Samsung evo ssd. I updated it with +8gb ram (€10), gtx 1060 6gb (€75), a new CPU fan (€25) and a power supply (€35). So a total of €155. I haven't received all the parts yet, so I can't say how capable it is yet. I'll come back and update this post once I've finished it and tested it

I used a used 1060 for 5 years!!! Ran Cyberpunk 2077 with very few issues!!! Just upgraded to a used 3080 for $600 Tax and shipping included!!! Hope you enjoy your new rig!!!

i never understood the argument that its harder to make a game for pc because your making it for thousands of different hardware because your not your making it for 2 for example i make a game i pick a graphics card so i make a game for the 1060 at low and a 2060 at high were are you needing to think about the thousands of combinations

I'm sorry to say but yeah the average kid or teen does not know how to use keyboard and mouse anymore the actual order of devices they are mostly likely know to use are touch screen, controller and then keyboard and mouse since most people actually play all their games on mobile these days but the statistics don't lie even though it doesn't feel real to me still.
