tbh steam concurrent player count is so low compared to playstation player count(you dont need to see that to understand pc is a pretty dead platform) not saying its dead dead but 10million in the afternoon and 2million at night yeah not worth playing on pc esp when the same exact game has people playing on console tells you something, plus pc is riddle with cheaters when a game has less then 10k it makes it easier to run into them and the reason why the game dies fast, this is coming from a pc elitist(keyboard and mouse only) use a controller play on console. all my fav games are alive and kicking on console but are dead on pc and xbox 360, so player count does matter when youre trying to play a multiplayer on any game, but for singleplayer games player count does not matter.

I'm genuinely confused. Elden Ring, a game made by From Software, that released on all platforms minus Switch, that Sony nor Xbox had any hand in making, is going to suddenly become a Sony First Party game, if the deal goes through, AFTER the game has already released and dropped an expansion? I... I don't understand. So does that now mean Spyro owes its existence to Xbox because they were bought, but only after it was published by Sony who by this train wreak logic no longer has any credit for making? Can someone intellectual explain how that makes any sense? Or at least use that logic against these clinically online amoebas?

If "First party titles having high peak player counts" is what decimates the competition... Then Valve decimates both Xbox and PlayStation combined with Counter Strike. Almost every single day, the 24h peak is over 1.2 million players. Hell, Pocket Pair alone would obliterate even From Software then, as Palworld's peak was 2.2 million. But it only matters if it's a PS title doing good on PC. The hilarious part is that they need PC numbers because Sony and MS don't reveal stats like Steam does.
