Totally don't agree in spear fishing but that doesn't stop me from watching and enjoying your video's. The way you put them together, explain what you're doing and why you're doing it is really fantastic. Added to this is the underwater footage that you never really get to see as a fisherman. I also have to admire anyone who can hold their breath for this amount of time in these waters. If I was a spear fisherman there would be a lot of very safe fish in the oceans!!

Thankfully the Chiefs winning the double will help with the pain of losing the pollock (thank you, from a chiefs fan). Lovely bass and well done for taking us through the whole drama.

It just goes to show that even with an experienced spearo things can go wrong...a line wrapped around a weight belt could be fatal...that teaches me to never be complacent...Not saying you were complacent joe..im talking to myself as im new to spearfishing😊👍
@JoePkSpearfishing3 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely right. Everyone has much to learn and we must be safety conscious at all times. Practise releasing the weight belt. Keep knives sharp. Dive within your capabilities. And rig your gun when you aren't in a hurry!

Nice one Joe! I bet Haydon has a headache after celebrating the 2 excellent wins by Exeter Chiefs! Good on 'em! Beautiful Bass, and I love the Landy filleting table! Those vacuum sealers are great bits of kit - I've got one that we use for allsorts for the freezer, but it's not quite as elaborate as yours! Best regards - stay safe & well.

I gotta tell ya, if you want to get rid of a body completely with no trace left whatsoever, put it in a small meshed bag big enough to fit the body in without having to cut it up and anchor it to the seafloor and you can use that spot as a great constant chumming location to help attract big paleagics. The worms and crabs eat the bones and all!
@JoePkSpearfishing3 жыл бұрын
Definitely going to try this! Thanks Steve 👍

My little girl Fiona has that same monkey as George (spelling?) does! She left him in Florence at a hotel last year and we had to have them ship him back here to Hawaii! Ouch! Anyway she loves that monkey... Hope yours didn't get to many scales on him during this experience but that's what they make the washer for anyway!

The best bass scene I have ever seen with a stunning catch at the end of it. Well done! I noticed that your reel line was not attached to the ring at the top of your gun. On purpose or you forgot to thread it through?
@JoePkSpearfishing3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Stefanos! Well observed regards the reel line. The ring is snapped off the muzzle and so won’t hold the line 😫
