A man who "made something of himself" and never forgot where he came from will always be remembered in highest regards. You are building a hell of a legacy brother. First time hearing you or of you in general and damned glad I did. I got hurt at work, got put on percs, ruined 2 years of my life, finally took control and used the pain to fuel recovery. Currently in a much better place but most of my friends have not been as lucky. We need a way to help these victims of opiates and to fight the pharmoterrorists who have chemically subdued multiple generations. Not only should ibogaine be legal and treatment accessible, it should also be free and paid for by the opiate manufacturers and the military industrial complex who have created the need for such treatment through their abuse of the comman folks of this nation.

@@sumo-ninja I grew up in east Texas and was heavily involved in my church until my teens. Plenty of respect for religious people and the moral lessons of the Bible, but outside of the community aspect, I don’t think it’s for me. Ive had enough religious and psychedelic experiences to consider the possibility of a greater being but I don’t think it requires blind faith or worship. But to each their own, religion provides a great comfort and benefit to many people.

I was an alcoholic for a solid 9 years and now am addicted to opiates. I have been searching for something that uncovers the root of my my addiction for my whole adult life. I could list the amount of things I have done but it is a list that is large and still growing. Everything is a bandaid for something that is deeper than physical dependency. I've always felt it's something in my spirit. I have been wanting to get an ibogaine treatment from the day I found out about it 7 years ago and couldn't afford it which is when I found opiates to help me cope with whatever darkness that has my soul bound and confined to a low frequency. Our society is sick as a whole on so many levels that is fueled by greed and power and something like this is something that can begin to help us heal globally. This really moved me and gives me so much hope.

I was not expecting to feel the way i do after this episode. Been a functioning (whatever that means)addict, I.E not in prison, not homeless, working 2jobs for years.the system and united health canceled me the last time i tried to go threw them to try going sober.multiple issues fell on play, but if this treatment wouldve been accessible to me when i first tried to get clean, the last 15-20 years wouldve been totally different for me..the system i went threw(cleveland) is designed to keep you in it. Addicted to the treatment..i dont want to be on medication the rest of my life. And i know most dont. We need this so bad i dont know the word i would use to communicate the level of seriousness.

@rantrash8547 I have the exact same feeling. My entire adult life I have been a functional and sometimes no so functional addict. There have been many times where I have just wanted to take a scrub brush to my brain to rid myself of this dysfunction. Unless you have thousands and thousands of dollars...you can't get quality and adequate treatment...and even after spending that kind of money recovery isn't guaranteed. I feel that this drug could be what all addicts who want to be clean have been waiting and praying for.
