Almost all drugs addicts went through extreme trauma. Remeber that when you see a homeless addict. Most went through shit that would be impossible to imagine.

Anyone who's ever been to jail/prison knows that hollow, forlorn, empty sense of sadness and complete despair that plagues your mind, heart, and soul...now magnify that a hundred fold by losing your whole family on one of the only days that's filled with joy and anticipation...it pains me to try to imagine what he must have went through in that cold, dreary, place in the days that followed....can't say for certain that i wouldn't be filling his shoes, or much, much worse . poor guy.

Life will get better on if you want better I been clean for 6 years now off pills 💊 and it turned into doing heroin but that was before fentanyl was ever around thank God I got on methadone and methadone safe my life it was a battle to get off the methadone as well but it is possible I have five more weeks and I'll be off my methadone and I will be 100% sober from opiates. I smoke flower / marijuana for my anxiety and it helps I am from Charleston South Carolina and your channel makes me want to go out and help the homeless around me and to show people that there is hope

Love your videos, but this was one of your worst interviews. He said his family died, and you didn’t ask him any follow ups. Then you asked him about his family again, and the other guy touched on some important points that maybe you should have. I think you should be less formulaic, and go with the flow more. He’s in so much pain. Ask him about it.

That is so sad. I haven't heard anyone say their whole family died while coming to see them. I know he feels like it's his fault in a way but it's not. That is so tragic. I couldn't imagine my sister's and nephews and parents coming to see me and they all die in a car crash. My mind would be so scrambled. He needed counseling after that happened. He still could use therapy because that pain and hurt will be with him for the rest of his life. Damn..To have nobody to turn to. No family to lean on and talk to is such a lonely and sad existence. I'm sure he was depressed for years and still is probably. My heart aches for him

Im going through some shyt myself nothing compared to these poor souls on this channel but stresses and disappointments none the less... im just keeping my nose in books working out and trying to spend as much of my time doing positive things for my future rather than feel sorry for myself.... having a family behind makes things a lot easier i must admit but having that inner strength not to go into hard drugs to forget the life issues comes from inside a person. Ill never do hard drugs again in my life because ur brain turns to mush.

Amen ❤️🫂🙏🏼
