Our God and Creator, Jesus Christ, loves all the animals He made and has charged man to care for them and not to hurt and abuse them. I loved this movie when I first saw it in 1966 and I love it even more now. The bond between man and animals is very special; just note the bond humans have with dogs, for example. Let's love and take care of those whom God brings into our lives!

I just love this music it is so beautiful, the OUTSTANDING music and the marvellous film has captured the hearts of millions all over the globe, one of the best animal films I have ever seen and a true story, the music and film is so stunning and this video is just beautiful capturing scenes of the beautiful film which is one of my favourites, the two leading performers Miss Virginia McKenna and Mr Bill Travers were so suited to their roles ABOLUTELY BRILLIANT, Miss Virginia McKenna is so down to earth in real life, not just a lovely wonderful hugely talented Hollywood Super star but also a great lady who is still fighting for Animal freedom God bless her always, just love her in this role, love the way she says in the film re Elsa the lion, " She Was Born FREE and has a right to stay FREE " my answer is yes, all animals have the right and the respect to stay free.

I remember in 1966 when I went to Longleat and jumped out of the back of my Dad's car and ran over to the Lions. We bonded instantly then a ranger came over with a rifle and told me to get back in the car. All creatures great and small I love them all.
