We all know that John has an amazing voice, however, more than that, he has an absolutely wonderful ability to interpret & emote the meaning of the lyrics. There are lots of amazing vocal show ponies, few have John’s ability to actually live & breathe the lyrics. I’ve no idea how John never became world famous. He’s got it all - he’s a good looking guy, he’s got an amazing vocal gift, has incredible interpretative abilities & is an all round lovely person. We’ve got a treasure in our John. Simply one of Australia’s most outstanding artists. We love you, John! 💕

You forgot to mention his breathing & diction, I haven't heard any of the show ponies with that! You never hear him breathe & every word is crisp & crystal clear. When he went looking for fame internationally they all said he didn't have what it takes for their markets, yet the trash that they turn out & make millionaires are so full of themselves & can't hold a candle to this man's talent. So he said feck em all, I'm loved here at home, & here at home I will stay, & he's given us everything he is, & we adore him for it. This was pretty much the start of the Farnsey dominance of the 1980's. Each song as unique and majestic as last. With a human element and wizadary to boot as well, he really did rule the 80's with a wide eyed but compassionate glove..I know some of my comments on here have sometimes been fairly biting & cynical?! But it's nothing against the man, the myth and the legend though, it's just that really wanted to live and experience this 1980's Australia as an adult?! Not as kid as it was so fast and fleeting.....
