Is still one of my biggest inspirations. Was a light to this dark world. His message @ music will last for eternity!! Being a recovering addict-alcoholic, i understand. John was right. It is not necessarily what you are on but why. Have 23 years clean and sober now

It's crazy that people still think that war is the answer in 2020..

He supported Communism, ideologically. He blamed the war in Vietnam on the US, when in fact it was the USSR that had equipped and supplied the Vietcong. Why not blame the USSR? He could not possibly ignore the Soviet genocides of over 30 million people. Once the US withdrew, the Vietcong massacred more than 1 million civilians. Why didn't he speak up about that? And what about the Khmer Rouges? Why did he not denounce their massacre of 3 million civilians? How about Mao's massacre of 60 million Chinese people? Not a word. They even thought that Mao was "cool". Seriously, WTF?

I had the most amazing experience of my life when I recorded my sister channelling John soon after his death. It's in a book, written by my sister, reviewed under my sister's name Kanai Callow, on KZbin. There are also channellings of alien beings in the book. I hope it's ok to plug this. An astounding book, though. Such an enigmatic and beautiful man, John was. And IS!

Yeh peace love and all that slop, while kicking the shit out of his first wife Cynthia, and abandoning Julian, who he didn't see for 3 years and then treating him with indifference when they did reconnect.... what a hypocrite.

Yup and then regretted it massively so much so that he almost through away his fame by fading into obscurity for 5 years as he brought up Sean.
