My band "One" performed for a J&Y private party in SF in 1972 that I was told was a B-day party for one of them. The house was in a gated SF neigborhood up a really long flight of stairs that the roadies had to haul all our gear up. J&Y stayed in a room upstairs and greeted anyone that waited in a long line spanning down the stairs. One of our band guests Cindra Pruitt got to meet them. The band was too busy setting up and performing and breaking down to stand in the line, and J&Y did not come down to meet us or jam. A case of my drums was stolen at the bottom of the entry stairs while the roadies were not looking on the way out. Did you hear about this party?

No, I’ve never heard this story!? This is a lost story, very cool. The house sounds like it could have been in the neighborhood where Geraldo was interviewing them on the ledge? Lots of nice homes around there and I think some parts are gated? Awesome experience you got to be a part of - even if part of your equipment got stolen 😬

Very cool findings, spots and locations! ✨ It's awesome you've seen Paul and RIngo in concert. John was always my favorite from The Beatles, though I got a chance to see RIngo at a charity concert years ago.

As much as I love Paul and his songs - Ive always been more of a Lennon fan myself. HIs songs feel more intimate and personal. But I love them both!! - as well as George and Ringo.

I saw Yoko walking around in Beverly Hills when I was visiting Los Angeles in 2007. She was with her bodyguard, who was a big guy that obviously nobody would want to mess with. I think she was living at the Beverly Hills Hotel at the time, and was on her way to see her son Sean's gallery exhibit.
