Thank-you for putting this together. Great to hear John Mack Flanagan's voice again. Dr. Don Rose. Big Tom Parker. Rick Shaw. Dave Sholin. Marvelous Mark McKay. And several other DJ's during hours when I was not listening as much. KFRC had such a great line-up of DJ's in the 70's.

I remember listening to John Mack Flanagan when he worked in Phoenix, AZ at 1360 KRUX on his way to the Bay. He had a great radio career. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Interesting...didn't know Phoenix was one of the farm team markets he worked in. I knew John, but I never asked him about his resume. He was done with radio when I knew him. He was head of security for a SF office building.

9:08 John Mack Flanagan mentions the opening of the movie "Honeymoon in Vegas," so this would be the summer of 1992.

I worked with John at KIKX and KTKT in Tucson and we constantly stayed in touch through the years. I really miss him.

I loved this version of KFRC. It was a great lineup at the time with Goss and Garrett in the morning, Sue Hall, John Mac Flanagan, and if I’m correct Chuck Geiger. And on the weekends it would be Paula Kelly, Sylvia chakon, and others. And John Mack Flanagan worked on Sunday nights from 3 PM until 7 PM.

KFRC-FM was a good oldies station, had some great jocks but compared to CBS-FM in NYC, their presentation fails. To me the all-time greatest oldies station ever programmed was Joe McCoy's CBS-FM. They really showed how an Oldies format should be done and lets not forget that during it's heyday in the early to mid-90's CBS-FM was the #1-rated music station in NYC.
