JOHN MAYER "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room", "Gravity", "Assassin" and John's little Joke @ LA Forum 3/15/2022 0:00 "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" 6:36 Band introduced by John 8:02 Gravity 16:30 Assassin 21:07 Assassin (Part 2 - video picks up again) 21:51 John Joking Lenny Castro (percussions) in also on a video I recorded in 2018 with TOTO. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXW4Y6qcnKaVaZI Pino Palladino (bass) can be seen in my video from 2022 with Eddie Vedder at the Ohana Festival. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3_SeJJugddshdk I have a few more clips from this John Mayer show. If enough interest (comments, likes) show up for this video, I will do my best to upload them. Back story: I was up all night and into sunrise working on this video. When I got home from the show, I always back up my files 2X. Before copying the folders, I deleted these unnecessary "xml" files generate for each video and for some reason all my videos got deleted! So I spent $50 to purchase software online that could recover the files on my SD card. That was a 2 step process that took about 2 hours! I was planning to put all the videos onto this YT upload but the sun was already coming up! It took 1 hour to render the video, about 6 hours to upload (4K 29GB file) and hours for YT to process! It's 4PM now and it's still processing. Tired :) So I have the videos to watch myself, but I really do want to share with others if people are interested. One thing that is time consuming is cropping in (zoom in post) when I edit because it takes time making sure he stays in the frame and I don't cut his head off, ha ha. Please let me know if that is something you'd like to see, or if it is find just the way it is without post-edit zoom. Thanks for watching!

The zoom crop looks neat! I don't notice loss in picture quality. But even without it, video is still very enjoyable to watch. Don't sweat it, just keep rocking \m/

@@rockmusicvideoreviewer896 Thanks! I do my work with 27" monitors so I get thrown off when people comment that they can't see well. I forget most people use their cell phones for viewing KZbin videos. I guess I am just old school, ha ha :)

John sounds great. The best he's sounded in years. Maybe because he is a little older, more at peace with himself. His band is always top notch. I love Lenny Castro since he played with Stevie Nicks. So glad he played Assassin. An oldie but goodie.

What section and seat were you in and how far did you have to zoom in? The quality is still pretty good.

8X optical zoom. 2X digital zoom (in post) on a few clips. I was on the floor, about the 75% away from the stage. The last 25% of the floor there are bleacher seats set up. I was at around the 4th row bleachers. Close to the sound engineers. We just saw another show there a few hours ago, seats in the same area. Video will be up in a few hours. The lighting was not as good (which is key to quality) so this new one isn't quite as good, but ok ;) Tears for Fears with Garbage opening.

@3.V Audio & Video 15:57 did you know how far was your position from the stage in feet / meters? sorry for such a noob question. 😅 i'm curious how far 8x optical zoom can reach, i'm going to a concert next month and my seat seems will be 30-40 meters far from the stage.

@@daileeeeeee Hi Fajar (and the other person who's user name I have no keys to type out ;) ) I posted my answer for you in the COMMUNITY section in my YT channel. I don't know the distance, but I put a seating chart to show you were I was for this show. And then you can Google actual images for LA Forum to get a n even better idea. Sometimes YT filters out links so that is why I didn't paste them here, but there are so many to look at. Let me know if you have any more questions! Oh, btw, tomorrow I will be at a new football stadium for the 1st time (recording) and be ever further away so it will be interesting to see how it turns out.
