It was always one of my favourite songs, explaining Aussies so well. I always had the attitude that "she'll be right". I lost my beautiful daughter recently & things aren't right. No parent should have to experience this. It's so hard.

This song has always meant a fair deal to me. All us 'true blue Aussies relate' (ya all know what I mean) But.......wbhen my Dad (Gordon Wykes, a true blue Aussie bloke, a Vietnam vet, an amazing bloke and step dad to me who was left, forgotten, suffered and passed away from his war ghosts and demons!) This song was his all time fav! Played at his funeral and brings me to tears but also makes me smile hugely, everytime I hear it! This song to me, is MY DAD, MY CHILDHOOD, MY COUNTRY! Wish time could go back before our beautiful Aussie country became a worry. Our leaders should have listened to Mr. John Williamson, 😊 why do you think peoplé?
