The first guy is leaving things out. He probably went back to her over and over in those 3 years. He needs to own up to his part of this train wreck.

Absolutely, how is someone a squatter in your home for 3 years?! He could've filed to legally evict her and had her out of there in 30 days, the Sheriff's dept. will absolutely enforce that. He didn't do it for a reason and got back in contact with her after his move for a reason. Whatever it is, he's getting some sort of gratification from it. Poor guy, but I don't feel too bad for him if he's going out of his way to keep himself in a bad situation 😕

i have had numerous disappointments that were more than just trivial--- child abuse by my brother in law, spousal abuse from my first husband, then after he quit drinking and quit abusing me, he was killed in a helicopter crash and i was left to raise two sons alone., then i married a con artist who took all my lawsuit money from my first husbands death. BUT- i hung around for the " rest of the story". through everything, i had 3 fantastic sons. i now have 7 grandchildren. and have been married to my third husband for 21 years now. btw-- all three names of my husbands have been " mike". just a funny side note lol. but i turned to God and feel that God is faithful and works all things together for good.

States that have strong tenants rights require legal pathway to evict. Once you let one live in your house you have estsblished a contract. When our kids moved out we had them sign a paper that their tenancy was ended. Lots of back story but it is super wise to take care of yourself. I'm not saying I disagree with these laws, tenants have too often gotten the short end of the stick. You need to know the laws where you live and take care of your family. First caller should have filed eviction papers the day he got divorced and ex wife wouldn't leave.

It sounds like the foster dad never wanted to even foster in the first place let alone adopt. She came to him saying she regrets not having kids. This was his way of compromising with her suddenly wanting kids after 35.

That caller needs to get ready for divorce papers but also ready to support that child on her own. Essentially, she really needs to be serious about holding down that job to have income because her current husband will not be responsible for child support or alimony.

This is right in the spot I am currently standing. I am age 72 with some growing health issues and my husband is age 78 and has cognitive decline, CMT (neurological mobility decline) This is not at all the "golden retirement" we were lead to believe we would be having. Stress, ill health and financial decline as well as our marriage suffering. Yes, it is a struggle to accept life's disappointments.

@@2crowwoman If you are seeking some kind of sign that it is OK for you to end a relationship that is not serving you... it's OK. You need to see your daughter and your grandbabies. I would be devastated if my mom chose to take care of her new (relatively new in the grand scheme of things) boyfriend and then she herself got sick and had no time left to spend with me and my child! It's so honourable of you to take care of him, but not at the expense of your daughter. Honestly, think of what you would want in his shoes, if your partner never discussed this before he needed this care. You'd never want someone you loved to miss out on their family to care for you, right? I'm sure your husband would want you to enjoy your life and be there for them too. And if he DOESN'T, he's an ass. Make time for yourself and your own life.

She might not be honoring herself BUT she is not honoring their choice they both made prior to this child. How can he be at fault at all to say , my heart has not changed? She knew that from the get go and he should not have to cave because her heart did. Yes she should be honest and tell him but I disagree with Dr John’s take on him if he says, I’m not in!

That's EXACTLY why they have to be 100% honest with themselves and each other and sincerely seek a win/win solution that can satisfy them both. They may need to get really creative to do that with this issue and if one decides to sacrifice their desire...they need to be ready to FULLY give it up without regret or resentment. Thus is a cross roads type of issue and it can go many different ways depending on what they each choose, so they better be fully authentic. Any self deception at this point could destroy them later.

It’s not that easy to evict someone who is there. If they have spent one night there or have their clothes there you have to go through the process of eviction. It doesn’t matter if you own the house or you and she are divorced. 😂

For the first caller, if that isn’t a clear representation of why men are not getting married anymore then I don’t know what is. The female 1st primary social order. Absolutely insane that the cops “can’t do anything”. If the roles were swapped, he’d be in prison.

She should already be in prison/state mental facility for 1st false accusation. Just because she has a bipolar diagnosis does not give her the right to destroy a person's reputation and possibly false imprisonment. Caller needs to ask an attorney about pressing charges against her.

Zach … please 🙏🏼 take your safety very seriously. This woman has NOTHING to loose. And that can be dangerous for you. I would not be surprised to find out she will break into your place, damage your car, go to your job and try to get you fired … she do some real damage to your body that is hard to come back from. Consider moving again. Change all your passwords, she probably knows them or can figure them out, change your phone, make sure no mutual friends EVER tell her anything about you. You need to disappear off the planet 🌍 from her. While you are coming out of it, you are STILL operating from the mindset of someone that is/has been domestically abused. 🙏🏼 please 🙏🏼 get the police involved and get a restraining order. Record conversations and take screenshots of texts to help you get the restraining order. Your safety is in jeopardy with this woman. You can not love her enough to make her better. Let her family do that. I hope you find safety and peace soon.

Tracey (the second caller) is doing the bait and switch and her husband knows it. She's being deceptive every step of the way. 1. Foster to adopt. This was always her hidden agenda. She just waited for the right foster first before saying anything. 2. Trying to emotional manipulate by putting the baby in his arms while the baby is sleep. 3. THEN.....THEN....THEN..... she says, "He doesn't want me to quit my job. I'm not even approaching that [YET]". Any conversation they have is pointless because she's dishonest. She keeps having one more thing up her sleeve deceptively inching him into the vision in HER HEAD. Next it'll be a bigger house, a nanny, a second child, all on her husband's single income. The husband sees it, and THAT'S why he's not for the adoption. She and the husband has already talked about this. She called to ask John how can she get her husband to change his mind, and clearly the husband was willing to consider adoption provided she doesn't quit her job, BUT NOOOOOOO, she wants it ALL HER WAY. If he was my brother, I would tell him to file the divorce papers now because if he doesn't give Princess Barbie what SHE WANTS, he's gonna have hell to pay in that marriage. She's wrapped up in her own little fantasy and he's a prop in it. RUN HUSBAND RUN!
