Crypto is very risky, but to say gold and silver are some of the riskiest investments available shows your dogmatic obedience to mutual fund managers. Look at the 10 year, 20 year, and 50 year charts. Gold and silver are up, steadily over the decades. Perhaps the market is better over that same time period, but it's not nearly as risky as you portrayed. Plus it's main function in an investment portfolio is as a hedge against inflation.

I think that's definitely a conversation to have, but that's not the point. He completely left her out the conversation. And the last she was made aware, The money was in one kind of investment. Then she learns that he, without telling her ANYTHING, moved it all. (Maybe not literally all, but sounds like the majority of it.) The big issue is that he left her completely out of the conversation, when a compromise could've been reached. She could've agreed to have half or a third in gold/silver ect. And most of it in something they both agreed to. Instead he hid and isolated himself from his wife.

I hear a lot of “yeah but” responses. I suggest having your questions written out and answer his questions, this will help minimize derailment during the discussion. This is a brief therapeutic interaction and you need as much information out of this as possible…breathe and slow down.

To this woman, this made me cry for you and with you. You’re so brave and strong & I’m so sorry this happened to you. If you see this I just wanted you to know how hard that is that he left you while you were meant to be in such a sacred & holy place with family. It’s not the same at all but my best friend of 15 years committed s* 1.5 years ago by shooting self in head. I was so sad and it was so devastatingly terrible and overwhelming that I wallpapered it off. I miss her often but one day out of nowhere and everywhere at same time I just totally came to terms with wow, I can’t believe she did that, and I Wonder why. I knew I’d never know and knew how much I loved and cared for her and I just smiled and forgave it all. I said out loud even I think, “I’m not mad at you. Life IS so hard, I get it. You are afraid, I don’t blame you for having a weak moment you can’t take back. This was your journey. This is your path. I’ll see you again.” I didn’t cry after though did when I heard this call. I talk to her often. I don’t believe death is the end. I also realized that she didn’t do it to hurt me or anyone, I don’t even know if she wanted to really go, it was almost just like she made a brief choice (just one instant of follow through in imbalanced chemistry and depression) that couldn’t be taken back. It’s hard to be left behind in such a final way where it cannot be bartered isn’t it. Who knows what she was thinking and if after she died she’d regret it or not. Would she do it again? Etc etc. When you don’t give what happened a story about his intent or what it means or why he left and etc etc just know it happened, it can’t be fully be described in words, he loved you and if post death is a thing he still does. In the far east it is said that everyone we’ve ever known has already been our partner, parent, friend, child. This is the path of the universe journeying itself through people in its ever unfolding mystery to learn itself. Earth is a heartbreaking & beautiful school. I still go sit with my friend and talk to her to have new experiences/hang out & heal. For me I meet her in the woods & talk with her. At the beginning it was hard, she seemed lost and stuck. Now it’s easier. Time if allowed can soften it. He lives on in your own body dna & your children. And I believe souls live on eternally. I grieve with you. Many do. Sending you a hug whenever needed. There was a movie I watched once, I think it was called, "The day after tomorrow." Life had changed after a nuke hit down, and the wife still wanted to keep going about her day like normal, and when the husband wanted to bring her to the basement for her safety, she lost it, kicking and screaming. People are afraid of the uncertainty of the times. That's why she's reluctant to leave also. Leaving also means uncertainty which is why she's focused on finances and security. I recently shared a cool video on how to prepare for a grid down situation, and he responded with not wanting to be hit with anxiety and called it "fear mongering." I told him it's not about fear mongering. In fact, one of my mottos is "Don't be scared, be prepared." I told him it's like CPR, I don't work on my certifications because I'm afraid people are gonna die, no. I keep my knowledge up to date for CPR, because I KNOW they do, and people collapse RANDOMLY. And, I'd rather be prepared to save a life than having to deal with not knowing what to do when it happens. But, regarding the 1st caller... Honestly, though, I think they bith. want to prepare for the future but it looks different for both of them. And, I don't think she sees that is a good thing. And, it is a good thing because you don't want to put all your eggs in one basket. It's good to have back ups for your backs ups. He wants to prep in something that's tangible and physical. And, in my opinion, she wants to keep doing it like people did before trusting the banks (banks which are actively collapsing, it's been on the news media, so no one can tell me it's not happening). I feel she is scared because life is changing for real, and it's not stable like it once was, and it's frightening to face that reality. The reality that life IS changing. I feel like her wanting a divorce is being driven by fear. I feel like she will regret going through with divorce BIG time, especially when he turns out to be right in these uncertain times. I pray both find a renewed love for each other, for both to see each others as assets, that they are able to communicate in a way where they understand and see and love each other more in Jesus name. I pray God sends them ministering angels to stand strong. To be able to see reality for what it is and approach the changing times as an unstoppable team in Jesus name. ❤
