Looked it up. Apparently a fan made it for him as a gift. So Johnny Cash got his caddy and it really didn't cost him a dime. Technically he even got it one piece at a time.... one complete piece that is.

Did someone from GM actually put this car together for Johnny in real life? I mean, I'm a car guy, I love cars, I'm at the Barrett-Jackson Auctions in Scottsdale AZ every year..... I can pick out what years the fenders, hood, trunk, and one tail fin are from. The left rear quarter is a '67 Eldorado and the right tail fin is a '64 DeVille. The right front fender is a '54 Fleetwood and the left front is a '66 DeVille. But what really blows me away is how they were able to mount either two doors on a coupe body or modify it for one door on a sedan body. How they got the two doors on one side and one on the other is a real engineering feat.
