Factory injectors come out of the plant spraying within 10 to 12% of each other you get them tuned down to 1 to 2% between each other and they're such a difference in the way that motor runs and sounds it will blow your mind buddy of mine did it on my 475 cat and all he did was turn it up to 525 timed the injectors and got them with them 2% of each other and it was a whole another truck I've operated High horsepower motors and that 525 felt like seven or eight on the ground try it on the motor that's going on the scam truck I love to get your reaction

I wouldn't run that 1693 at high rpms unless you want to spin crank bearings or break the crank. I've owned 3 of them and am very familiar with them. Run it at about 1750 rpm and let governor do it's thing.
@choochoowillie41462 жыл бұрын
I drove one that a friend of mine bought, he was riding with me and kept telling me not to run it at high rpm so I said you drive them and the cam broke then he said maybe your right about high rpm (I still like those motors)

You know deboss garage........ Well he has a guy up there in Canada who does that exact series of pumps who managed to get the distribution on every single cylinder in a straight line across......you should contact him and find out what the name of his guy is and send that pump up there to him because from what I'm seeing it looks like half of the cylinders on that thing are going to be lower than the other half I don't know how that's going to work it's probably good enough but if you're looking for perfect and I know I sure as hell would...... I get that that's part of it straightened out......I would contact the boss garage for that guy's name and number and send the pump to him cuz he sure knows what he's doing.....

Hey Tim,,, I watched your last video when you visited this shop and was hoping that when you returned you would bring your father to experience the new technology. They didn't have all this when he was a youngster. Next time you come to this shop bring your daddy! I think he would really have a good time. We sure do enjoy watching your channel. Just a shot in the dark do any of yall know anything about John Deere engines I'm running a shrimp boat for some people and she got a 6 cylinder John Deere about 300 hp with a turbo she was working good for a while but lately she's got way down on power I've lost about 400 RPM's the turbo had some were so we replace that but it didn't solve the problem do you think it might be the fuel pump or something else i don't know anything about working on John Deere every other boat I've been on has had 12-71 Detroit's i can overhaul them no problem any advice would be appreciated
