Johnny, himself found it strange she would want to meet with him. It's a trap. Also, later it was determined the person who obtained the restraining order and invited the individual over, then someone like Amber would be arrested. It's not up to the parties involved to dissolve the order, but that of the judge.

If you watch 39:47 to 45:10 you’ll notice the pain and anguish on Mr. Depp’s face. It’s clear Mr. Depp is an empath and he’s visibly shaken just hearing Ms. Heard cry. If you focus on Ms. Heard you’ll observe her avoid actually listening to this recording. She’ll write on her notepad the whole time. It strikes me that Mr. Depp has a good heart. This is so horrible. As someone who was manipulated and groomed for a year by an abusive partner her shift of tone at @35 is so triggering. The jarring flip from yelling to soothing is scary. She knows what to do and how to keep him down . She provides the pain and the comfort to the pain. Her manipulation here is horrifying. Unfortunately, people with those disorders usually aren't willing to seek good help or when they do, gaslight their therapists or even get worse. Well, I hope she gets help for herself and turns things around. She could use that to promote help for others who are having the same kind of troubles. Seems like Depp is the type that when things are getting heated, he prefers to retreat to cool down - it's a coping mechanism I recognize because I do the same thing - it's not "you're not dealing with the confrontation" as Amber says - it's taking time to collect yourself - it's the responsible thing to do when things are getting to be too much. Amber, on the other hand, I think she feels like she NEEDS to deal with things as they come - maybe the time in which Johnny needs a time out is anxiety inducing for her? She says, "you're just splitting" when really, he's just taking a moment or two... I don't know much about her history, but it seems she has some VERY deep rooted abandonment issues. Since this is not her first rodeo with domestic violence, perhaps she should get some intense therapy. I can't even imagine for Johnny - all this while detoxing from opiates which is one of the HARDEST things to do (it's an emotionally, mentally, and physically taxing thing to go through). 6 days to detox from opiates is a F'ing joke, but I can see how he probably had a hard enough time getting 6 days along. The worst part of all this is her remarks about how people won’t believe it if he says he’s a victim of domestic violence. Makes me angry - my husband was a victim - would have been put UNDER the jail had he defended himself because he’s a big dude - and his ex took full advantage of that. Men are victims, too!

Im horrified by the rapidity of the "detox".....!. Holy moley...you should wean, and never go cold turkey, then pump them full of other substances... makes no sense to me.... I was on a low dose benzo to stop nerve spasms (broken neck requiring surgery) ... only 5mg... but had been on it for years. The effects of coming off that was horrendous and lasted for weeks. I potentially could have had a massive seizure...and die...especially in the 1st week There is physiological dependency, as well as psychological.... An addict wanting to get off, is one thing, but physiologically the body still requires the same amounts To get off safely, you should reduce in small amounts...over a period of time for the body to ajust... Pain mismanagement is a thing!...

I was in a relationship exactly like this. One thing I've learned is that when someone is asking for space, you give it to them, without question. It feels like they're walking away for good so begging them to stay seems like the right thing but it's in fact making things worse because it means stepping over someones boundaries.
