My wonderful Lietuva! I am Italian, precisely Neapolitan, but it's been almost three years I've fallen in love with this little wonderful Baltic gem that was once the widest European country. I've had two trips thorugh Lietuva so far, I've visited the Baltic shoreline up to Vilnius, passing through Kaunas, Trakai and many other places. There's something magical about this country, when you visit it for the first time having almost no clue what it hides, you do get an unknown good vibe that is typical of all those places and peoples who counted in history and who stood out in the centuries. I am a historian, so I immediately sought to master my knowledge of Lithuanian history and now I coudl brag about being an expert at it! No wonder my upcoming bachelor's degree's topic is medieval Lithuania, from Mindaugas up to the battle of Tannenberg that Lithuanians call Žalgiris. I've got severa Lithuanian friends, also a couple of exes along the way and I can say that Lithuanians are fantastic too. I have got only good memories and I can't wait to come back. Just a little word of advice for Benjamin and Johnny: treat Lithuanians as such, without trying to put them in comparison with Slavs and other people. They are Baltic, they are of a different kind. When Lithuanians understand you are aware of their heritage and their importance in history, they will open up much more easily. The label of minor country is not suitable at all for Lietuva and we shall all recover and appreciate that mighty and pivotal heritage the Soviets tried to erase shamefully. Greitai pasimatysime, Lietuva! From Italia, with love!

Watching this was fabulous. I live in Wisconsin USA and really enjoy following Johnny and Bald. Also loved sweet-eyed Polo the dog. I look forward to your adventures all through Lithuania. So heartwarming to see the people eager to meet you two! and how welcoming you were with them.
