Back when my wife was my new girlfriend we were just drifting around the country and this song came on. It was so fitting. Fast forward 6 years and now I'm a commercial fisherman sitting on my boat damn near in tears listening to this. I can't wait to get home and see her. I probably don't tell her enough but there's no life for me without her.

Beautiful story. Blessings to you and your bride. I started listening to John Prine in my college days; Chapel Hill, in the mid-70’s. Just nothing like John Prine music. He was an incredible story-teller. Listening to his music always takes me somewhere else; and that’s a great thing. ❤

Or maybe it’s just a coincidence 🪬
