I saw another person reacting to this video from the Honda Stage, who said that during this concert she has a cold, and was struggling with a fever the whole time, she was 39.5 degrees when she finished. And she NEVER considered canceling the concert, simply because she LOVES her audience.

The Honda stage version is a very special one. She performed with a terrible cold there. You can see it on her face and hear it in her voice, and yet she sounded beautiful.

@gigatoob Yeah, someone to suggest "It happened quiet" live at the current. It's really hard to pick "best performances" when it comes to Aurora but that performance is not from earth... Obviously, the song itself is a master piece already but like emotion- and expressionwise I can't even believe how insanely good it is. Yet I don't see people suggest it too often. 🙂

Please check her performance of Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1) at the Nobel Peace Prize, she was 19(?) at that time and she crushed it. Just her and a guitarist. More suggestions: - her full performance on KEXP 2018 because you get to see a bit of her amazing personality -Through The Eyes Of A Child live at Nidarosdomen (I dare you to hold your tears) - It Happened Quiet live at The Current

Not her most popular nor best version of this song, but I do love it very much. In fact, I love this entire concert. The Nobel Peace Prize concert version of this song is insane, and I'm sure her most popular live performance, period. You should at least check it out on your own, assuming you don't want to react to another live version of the same song. But while we're on the subject of this Honda Stage performance, "Black Water Lilies" (show opener) has perhaps my favorite Aurora vocals ever, and the song that follows, "Under the Water" is also crazy good. Goosebumps abound! But whatever you do, please stay on the live Aurora journey. She never disappoints. I've seen fan videos of her doing impromptu a capella songs, from fan requests, and they sound ridiculously good.

Great reaction, I told you in my comment on the MV, she is mesmerizing, totally captivating. My all time favorite artist. I have read that she had a cold for this show, but, she still kills it. I love Black Water Lilies and Under the Water at this show. Those are my suggestions, I hope to see another Aurora reaction soon.

Really like your reactions to Aurora. I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and spoiled with numerous great artists and music. So, I had MANY “favorite” artists…..Eagles…ELO…Fleetwood Mac…Linda Ronstadt….Peter Cetera/Chicago….Steve Perry/Journey…James Taylor….Jackson Browne….Billy Joel…Paul McCartney/Wings….just to name a few. And, there’s probably 20+ more🤭🎼✌🏾🤘🏾 But, after I came across Aurora, about 2years ago now, she has moved up to the very top of my all-time favorite across. This includes her music, her performances, her crazy AMAZINGLY interesting and humorous interviews…..and, so very much humbleness….just a pure soul, brother. I got pulled into her rabbit hole(which I have not been able to want to find my way out, yet😆🤭)…by accident, seeing a vocal coach breaking down her performance of “Runaway” at the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE CONCERT……….DUDE!!!…as amazing as this video at the HONDA show is…..you’ve GOT TO react(or, just watch on your own🤙🏾🤘🏾🎼) to that Nobel Peace performance. There’s 3 tunes she performs beside “Runaway”(“Murder Song”…and, her cover of OASIS’ “Half the World Away”, which were 🤬’n amazing, too!!!)……but, that “Runaway” performance is one that has stayed with me from the day I watched it for the first time…….replaying it a insanely criminal 30+ times😬😬😬…….she made me feel like I was the only one sitting in the crowd watching her and she was giving EVERYTHING in her soul to her lyrics and it showed in her body movements, too. She has an amazing discography…..”The River”….”Daydreamer”….Giving Into the Love”….”Queendom”…SO MANY OTHERS. OH…another soul wrenching performance is her “NIDOROSDOMEN Concert” of her song “Through the Eyes of a Child”….that song is done in a cappella that I think you’d really like in the “VEVO stripped Through the Eyes of a Child”. But, that entire Nidorosdomen” show is powerfully sweet. Worth checking out. I’m a budding artist, myself. Started in my 50’s, trying to express what was suppressed deep in my soul because I had a father that thought his kids should play only sports and that we weren’t talented enough to perform/do anything in the arts. Sadly, I only my first instrument, a ukulele, when I went into the military at 21…..being from Hawai’i that is pretty rare back in my day. But, it’s is very powerful when words are put into someone’s brain that they cannot do something, sometimes. One day, I said 🤬-it…..I’m going to let my muscle memory prove to me that Dad was right or wrong……today, I play bass….learning piano, steel guitar and, of course, ukulele😁❤….. but, I’m so happy to let my inspiration flow into writing songs. And, brother….I truly can thank Aurora for the inspiration by her music, performing….but, hugely, from her interviews where she preaches to do what your soul/spirit is guiding you to……….POWERFUL, brother. I always look for artists that have reaction channels because 90% of them articulate their observations of their music reaction almost exactly what I see and feel. And, to watch your reactions ring blown away by Aurora’s music, ESPECIALLY her Live stuff, is so cool🤙🏾🤙🏾🎼. Keep up the great reactions, brother….and, much luck on your future with your channel. Much Aloha. 🎼✌🏾🤘🏾🤙🏾🫶🏽😮 -kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXnTmYN7preGbZosi=jUIZyfXmmRX0QD0V -kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXfddquLg5aBbqssi=8m-eNKj3fWRvp6xM -kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJSqaq2Kr9icqacsi=bbCX2E2IXoVTe1pK -kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHOsk52letaIfrssi=pd1YnZizFkceDRQr -kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJ2vd3uaj8uIqLcsi=uo1q7V38sHK37Zox -kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaW0oIehbtVkg5Isi=Wzkk7r0ahfwVyv-Y This is her cover of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”….this shows her being so vulnerable and her shyness….but, I rewind so many times when I get to that note she hits, and holds beautifully, at 1:35 of the vid 🥰🥰🎼🫶🏽. Love artists that can share that……MY MARIANNE(Molly Sandén) is another great singer that has that kind of amazing voice. 🎼✌🏾🤙🏾

Still, ... waiting for someone to do the live version of Warrior from the Haik Documentary "right." It's the best version of that song, and she sings it for two fans. But if you just play the song, you lose the magic, the context. Aurora is being taken on a Haik (hike) by a friend and has no control or knowledge of events. She's introduced to 3 new artists and given an hour to practice while her friend goes to get two fans who won tickets to an evening concert with Aurora not knowing that they are about to get a one song mini concert. It adds about three minutes to the song, but the before and after is what makes it so magical. She absolutely destroyed the fans emotionally, absolutely.

I’m so glad you have discovered Aurora! She is a musical genius from Norway who has been writing songs since she was six years old. She is hugely involved in the writing and production of all her songs. Her songs are her vision. She is so creative and is a beauty dancer as well. If you listen to enough of her songs, you will have your own favorite video or live performances of each because they can be so different and creative in different ways. She has had some long term vocal and musical collaborators that she has worked with through the years who have left to pursue their own careers and she is very supportive of their careers. She is very empathic and accepting of all people and cares tremendously for nature and the Earth. I have so many songs or performances to recommend but am loving the newer VEVO performances such as Exhale Inhale and The Woman in Me that show the beautiful 27 year old woman she has become. Enjoy!

Love Aurora so much. That said, the performance she did of this song at the Nobel prize concert was definitely better. Another commenter said she was sick during this performance and that tracks. I was definitely getting the impression that she was probably a bit tired or something before I read that about her being sick. Listen to her Nobel performance of this song and the Murder Song if you really want chills and goose flesh. 😉 Also, try her song Through the Eyes of a Child, live at Nidarosdomen. That one is also just plain amazing. Her performance of It Happened Quiet, live at the Current was stunning as well. Finally, check out her KZbin channel. Lately, she's been including live studio performances of her songs along side the official video releases. She's pretty much the only artist who's live performances I prefer to the clean studio tracks. Enjoy the rabbit hole. 😎

I really liked your review of this. You truly appreciate great music, singers, and great song writing. I have met some rock or metal musicians who can't appreciate artists like Aurora. I've been playing clarinet and sax in orchestral and jazz. And I have found among these so called "music nerds" that a hell of a lot of us love rock metal country, etc. Like you as a vocalist, we recognize and love music that is well written, performed by talented musicians, and evokes emotion. Simply put, a true musician like yourself will appreciate great music no matter what genre it is. There's nothing like playing in the middle of an orchestra surrounded by hundreds of talented playing epic music. So, yeah, my music library music from Band Maid, to Nirvana, to prog rock, and singer like Aurora has tons of different genres. Aurora is special. She is a wonderful singer and songwriter. I find it amazing that she wrote this song when she was a child
