My attempt to answer the question at 1:25 in the video. I believe that a slight lean forward at takeoff prevents a jumper from reaching too far in front of themself, which leads to a more efficient transfer of momentum into the board. This causes more "push off" when striking the board.

Let’s see who else answers as we don’t want to give the game away too early. 😄🤫

I've said this in a previous response to one of your videos, but I enjoy watching and learning from your videos! Thank you for creating this content!

... you know what, I partly started making the videos to advance my learning too! I used to write article on sports training so I was used to the intellectual challenge. Turning to video was a bit of a challenge especially on the more complex subjects. Thanks!

I would say the same. If your center of mass is over the contact leg then it's easier for the athlete to push and get advantage from his speed to the take off. I also believe that it depends on the athletes speed because someone who is not fast enough can not support it. I'm looking forward for your opinion😊.

hey coach! season opener was 15-2, but I run a 12.4 100m. Also couldn't clear a 32' board for triple. Any deficits I should work on?
