Visited and worked in Japan 2002-03. Winter. It IS the context that makes Japanese architecture such a deeply memorable experience. Palo Museum of Art in Hakone. Opened Sept 2002. Set in forest. Kyoto Railway Station, also just opened when arrived Dec 2002. Turned my idea of a railway station on its head.

Oh!!!!!!!!! You have been in Japan wow! I'm so excited to hear about Japanese architecture from you, because actually I'm Japanese understudy of architecture now and so interesting how foreigner feel it comparing out of Japan nowadays. Quite reverse, I love to trip to Europe for architecture, especially in North. I wanna jump into your conversation, thats so fun, thank you for sharing.

I’m sure it will be absolutely amazing! Super jealous of those going. I so wish I could come. Only you could convince me of the value in visiting projects that aren’t necessarily an architect’s best 😊

Never disappointed by the thoughtful discussion and presentation of alternative perspectives. Loved Andrew's hilarious pronunciation. Loved the Mac Desktop fire in the fireplace.
