Good review😊... I predict it will make a lot of money... whether it's good or bad... whether people like it or not... because it is Joker 2! I think big fans will accept it as a musical because Arthur is back. The guys who lost their minds over the original (like they never saw a drama movie before in their life - which may be true) may lose their minds once again over this (like they never saw a musical before in their life - which again may be true). Neutrals and those who didn't like Joker particularly (me - and I saw it twice in the theatre ) may still spend money checking it out (like Barbie). In these days it is the revenue (and hype) that counts and is the measure of achievement.

I liked the first movie. Critic Reviews for that was also mixed so I’m not sure how to gauge the reception. I’m still going to see it. I love the concept of this one.

I'll never watch it but I do like to "take notes" about public opinion on movies like this 😂. I'm pretty sure most people excited about it are the kind of people who see "FOLIE À DEUX" and think "oh wow that's a real term in French used to describe.." blah blah blah.. and they instantly think "holy crap I absolutely need to see this movie now in order to stay alive." In other words, these movies seem to highly appeal to people who are not the most mentally stable (take a lot of medication, claim to have anxiety issues, etc), and also focus a lot of their time on "bullying" in the world. So they see a crazy guy who is bullied and can instantly relate to the environment which sets him off etc. They don't want to outright just admit the real draw of that, so they will simply attribute their obsession to "great acting" etc. I may be off base here, cause again, I don't plan to ever see either movie beyond happenstance.. but this one seems like it could easily check a bunch of boxes for modern times. You have girl boss providing a somewhat effeminate clown man guidance and emotional inspiration, out of that they have 'Love Story: Joker Edition', they can have lunacy spread throughout which people love and can relate to, and probably more "bullies" getting dealt with which again is a big obsession these days. Since they didn't make this Joker a female lesbian, I guess they decided to add the musical aspect just to check some more boxes. I don't mean to take anything away from a good actor.. but I know a good amount of them who could also pull off the same emotional range for millions of dollars. It was a pretty good performance.. I wouldn't call it best of all time or anything like that..

The ending was a shocker...smh..i couldn't believe it mate. I feel Todd implied who.......I won't say anymore😅 it was really a breathtaking film👍🏻🔥 Lee (gaga) was also amazing. My first time seeing her act, she's brilliant. Shes sexy in this film, i like seeing gaga without all the bullshite makeup and wild fashion all around her, she's very pretty. My favourite film👍🏻🔥

" When the critics are divided the artist is in accord with himself " thus paraphrasing Oscar Wilde-from memory- but i think this is true, mixed reviews ? who cares, lets see if this one lives up to out expectations and /or quality of the original, the musical aspect put me off, but i will buy into the directors vision, excellent actors can make most things watchable, i will wait and see ; lets hope its a slightly misunderstood stone cold classic, or at least a half-warm corpse ;)

Margot Robbie is the kids Harley Quin she's the animated theatrical super hero version. Lady Gaga is the dramatic realistic humane version of Harley Quin. No one is better than the other its just depends on the context of every storyline in the movie.

Joker 2 will be rated R (duh) - how graphic was the movie? My son is 12 and we watched the first movie in theaters and everything was fine. We loved it. I told him we might have to wait for it to play on TV (where stuff will be censored) because it said brief full nudity/sexual content. How much of that was there? I don't care about violence, he's mature enough for that.
