There's a strange irony in how the game presents this museum as Jack Ryder cynically cashing in on the events of the Arkham series and yet that's basically all the actual game is doing by including all these references. I mean, there's no reason for this to have been a continuation of the Arkham setting beyond marketing, and I have to believe it was a decision made by WB executives rather than anyone who cared.

How utterly unbalanced that character is compared to the people he usually fights that they had to implement a city health bar rather than a personal health bar? And don't try to pretend you can do better than that: Superman's whole gimmick is that he is literally almost indestructible. Giving him a health bar against the common criminal would be extremely silly for obvious reasons. Green Lantern could be done, but again, you'd have to put him up against other lanterns who match him in power, and at that, I have no clue at all how the gameplay would work for a character who can create any object with his mind

I honestly like this Joker. Sure, Hamill the best but, It's important to remember that this isn't that Joker. It's a brand new one never seen before. He's got his own sense of humor, talks like a comedian instead of a murderous clown, and he has his own methods. Quotes like "Maybe I went overboard on the chloroform." and him referring to Arkham-verse's Joker as Old suggest, that this is a young Joker, one who's may have killed his Batman by accident and doesn't always see the big picture but has learned from his mistakes. Each Joker is in a league of his own, and this one seems like an interesting take. I like him.

I feel bad for rocksteady, but the founders and most devs already abandoned ship before it sunk, so I'm glad they didn't associate themself with this. Honestly, I don't blame rocksteady, I blame WB. Rocksteady went to WB with a superman pitch, WB was like nah, fuck you, we only want shitty games, and you guys have let us down by releasing 3 masterpieces in a row. Let's ask James Gunn, he might know how to make a flop. James Gunn made the suicide squad movie and said let's not make that because it was actually good. WB decided to look for their shittiest movie. Oh lo and behold there is suicide squad 2016. WB forgot they made 2 SS movies and said sorry to James, they thought he made the slop that they wanted. So they said OK to an SS game, but James didn't realize they were talking about the one from 2016. WB needed to punish rocksteady for making something good, so they made sure to undo all the hard work they did by forcing them to make 1 bad game to kill the Arkham verse. WB had recently released hogwarts legacy, which was not shitty, WB was, furious and panicking, they needed to release SSKTJL fast. Rocksteady behind their back had secretly been trying to make it good. But then WB caught on and here is where Sefton left to escape WB's wrath. Sefton didn't want to leave behind the studio he started, but it was too late. Jamie already left when he was forced to make a game he hated. WB could not have another success, they needed to flop again. But what would they do, they only had so much time to shitify the game again. Aha, they saw other awful games such as Spider man 2, God of War Ragnarok, and Alan Wake 2. WB wondered how such talented devs could make such awful games, they needed to find out so Rocksteady didn't escape scot free. They found a friend called sweet baby, who helped them shitify the game before it was too late. WB had finally made the game a stinking turd. Rocksteady still had 1 last trick up their sleeve. They decided to give leaks out weeks before launch. WB loved to fail successfully, but when it was about money, they needed to succeed. WB had already pushed in live service to the game for more money, but they forgot to keep their turd classified and secret. Leaks came out, no one was going to buy the game. To Rocksteady's somewhat surprise, WB celebrated and decided they needed to stick to solely live service crap from now on. WB decided to continue supporting a turd so it could suffer a bit longer, now they decided they want money but making a shitty game as awful as possible comes first. Thanks for reading this stupid story if you made it this far, but I honestly hate WB. They are not as bad as Disney but they are getting there. But the real villain in this story was ESG and Sweet Baby Inc.
