That is what feral, wild, undomesticated means. Follow those words. They all start in political, ruling classes and the strata near them. Even chivalry which is about horses and houses (familia, guild-ers, etc). Out of unfied expect results, of a social rules level. Socialisation. Centralised codified behaviour, through universal expectation. Nothing wrong with that ...to an extent.

100%. There are a couple of scenes/lines in this movie, that I shook my head in agreeance, calling out spot on American government and society and how shit things are getting. The part where his psychologist tells him that the government is cutting funding across-the-board, so people like that will no longer be able to have help. I’ve been through that myself and it’s bullshit. And then the other part when he’s on the Murray Franklin show, and says “no one thinks of how it feels to be the other guy“. And “they think we’ll just take it like good little boys, that we won’t werewolf and go wild“. Both those lines are super true and powerful. Speaking on both how the government treats people, and how other people treat other people.

Simple: art cannot be politically correct. Think of some of the best movies, books, series, comics, manga, anime and whatnot of all time... 99.9% of them would not have been made if they were trying to please the people that get offended by everything and are extremely emotional about every little obstacle they find in life. As a writer, I can tell you that art is about taking chances: it doesn't guarantee a great product, but it sure as hell is better than playing it safe.

Media hates the Joker because Joker didn't follow what the media wanted. Other words, media couldn't control Tod Philips' The Joker movie. The Joker has nothing to do with racism, sexism and the violence was way over hyped by the media. The Joker is the best move of the year. Going to be very hard to beat it, but since the media hates it, you'll never see Joaquin win an award and we'll see an excuse from the media why they screwed over Joaquin. It all starts with us the people. This is why it is important for us to utilize or voice. This is why I am for uniting together instead of judging one another and being divided as our government wants. They don’t want intelligent humans walking around. That’s why it’s big when he says “They think we are gonna be like good little boys and take it!” Just to insert a Joker quote but it really is about us man. We cannot just listen to someone tell us what happened. It is hugely important for us to observe with our own eyes and ears and senses. It’s about us and uniting against this garbage system and taking our system back in a way. I’m not the political guru so it’s not like I’m trying to say that there is a secret society controlling us but I am saying there is a bigger corporate thing or government that wants us to be stuck and against each other. I am really about using these social media platforms for the right reasons and making sure my heart is in the right place. One part of the movie people struggle with is the subway killing. Lord knows if they were still shooting that scene he would still be getting beat down so when was it going to stop? Why should I feel uncomfortable for saying good for Arthur. And yes he ended up chasing the other guy down but hey that guy was Mr. Tough guy until. So it tells us to be very careful on how we treat others. Plus, they were harassing a girl right before so if Arthur wasn’t there who’s to say people like them 3 wouldn’t of raped her? So yes I’m all for Arthur on that one. Society has changed so much from when I was growing up. I’m 43 going to be 44 the 23rd of this month. I worked very hard to make it through my tough life. But, I do understand and comprehend that if I made some other choices earlier I may not of ended up where I did. People lack self awareness and self worth nowadays. This younger generation and God bless them all they just care about self and what they can get all of the time. They do not realize there are other people. There is a fine line between what is cool and what’s ignorant. This movie really should get us uniting and stop with the violence and in cell thing or whatever. The real message is about treating each other with respect. Bringing back some form of spirituality within our communities. Lifting each other up! But, here we are talking about the media who we can’t trust to even tell us the correct news. Unbelievable. It’s okay to feel for this character. The ones who are reporting this nonsense do not even no what illness is. They would never be seen with a person like Arthur. I would be nervous like dude get this guy away from me he is crazy! Right? You no the ones who say they are Jesus and you can’t prove they are not cause they use that hole biblical story about the people killing Jesus. Insanity! And schools are not even teaching our children that homework is important to do. Tests are important to pass or even participate. It’s crazy! I have 3 kids and 2 of them in school right now in a pretty good area. Teachers do not stay after to help there are no teachers like 30 years ago when they had lasting effects on kids. So there are many issues and it’s up to us to do it. If we don’t we will keep getting the same garbage you speak of.

That lie to themselves in order to believe they are defending out of real concern, but instead, resorting to defend specifically so they try to gain respect or acknowledgment by said group. Almost as if to look like a ''better'' person than the next, so they can swim in their self righteous glory. I speculate, but to things I think were a nod to other things was: 1. Arthur Fleck = A. Fleck = Affleck (take that for what your will) 2. The movie still didn’t do good in the box office and didn’t make a profit it needed for why it won’t have a Ghostbuster 2 using the same women characters, since it still wasn’t good as the original Ghostbusters movie regardless of the gender of the characters in the new one.

I try to show the schemers how pathetic their attempts to control things really are .... Upset the established order and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of chaos." Nothing suits the entertainment-media complex's disdain for the Joker movie more than this line here. This is why the left wing mass media hates Joker so much. He's the fly in the ointment. He doesn't conform to their indoctrination efforts. No earlier Joker dialogue is more appropriate for explaining how we got to this point.

Just imagine medical advancements as well as CSI and detective work, military people who’s witnessed death in whole new levels. But yeah, I’m sorry for ranting, and I wanted to articulate better, but I’m on mobile so I’m having a hard time.

6 billion? The current census numbers indicate nearly 8 billion. 6 vs 8 sounds small but not in the realm of billions.

As far as fictional characters from Dragon Ball Super not being real. That does not matter as long as that is what people are into it doesn't matter. The actors behind those characters are. I would like to meet Sean Schemmel in person someday. I bet he is a nice guy.

Well honestly geekdom ..... the reason they wanted it the flop is more so because that movie was going to basically wake some people up to the parallels of what happens in real life, it's really about politics what they were afraid of was that this movie would inspire lower class middle class people to be " radicalized" it simply hit too close to home, so without giving away any spoilers, all one has to do is watch the movie and think critically about the things that are happening in society right now, look at the news look at the temperament of society right now, look at the social climate that is around you. The movie has so many parallels with everyday life at this particular moment, and I think Martin Scorsese purposely intended for the Joker to be relatable in this movie and that's what some people are afraid of they literally took a character that no one for the past 5060 some odd years could never understand and made him make actually too much sense in some ways it's kind of like the main character saying "yes! I'm batshit crazy, of course I got a million screws loose, bytch I got 999 fuckin' problems but here's why and it's not what you'd expect."

At this point I don't even watch or read reviews anymore. Every fucking thing is construed one way or another. Thanks for your take on it. Couldn't have said it better. Good ass movie nonetheless. (Edit typo)

Can we agree that it was just a movie?

The media give us bs because there might be that one person who is effected by the movie and they need to be sure that person knows what they are about to watch but I agree that it has been blown way out of hand

I see the Joker being the Schindler's List of our generation. Is was masterfully done and it has made me for one thankful for the choas the Joker has bought to the status quo. It doing a better job then any amount of blood shed has in three centuries
