There is a wonderful video from 2010 of Jonathan singing Ava Maria in a Church, when he was just 15 years old. That video has over 5 million views. lo Si was filmed in that same Church, Jonathan used to sing in.

@@fezzik7619 not sure what musical expert you are but this performance is flawless(in my personal opinion; I am not an expert by any means but I am a musician and singer so I feel I know enough to know when I’ve heard a good singer). Just because you don’t agree with the way he sings doesn’t make it wrong. He has his own distinct style as does any talented musician or singer.

@@fezzik7619 I have searched EVERY version of this song by EVERY singer hoping to find ANYONE who would sing it with feeling, gusto and talent. I am not going to say it is perfect, but it IS the one that doesn't leave me ready to vomit because the singer has NO CLUE what words are coming out of there mouth. Mariah Carey comes close, but even she cannot sing it the way my best friend's mother did I was 5 years old. I am looking for THAT kind of perfect, and it makes me sick to not see it anywhere. I begged to hear it sung like this. He WILL get better. Yes, of course...He is a kid, but oh my God...He is Great! And there is nothing...nothing...wrong with a person's weight UNLESS it causes health issues! If he has no breathing problems, heart problems, or joint issues it is likely a light layer of fat over muscles. My cousin was harassed his entire childhood about his weight. No one saw past it except me. He went to another town, began football and came back sexy as hell with a model for a wife...and he can cook with a heart of gold, and his parents are rich, so yes...I loved it that the whole town felt like stupid shits! They should have. It served them right.

I keep listening to this (and his other songs) over and over again. He sure does sing his heart out. I first heard of Jonathan Antoine in December when I watched a video comparing various tenor voices while singing O Holy Night. I had to pause when it came to him. I remarked that Jonathan had the heart of the carol but that David Phelps had the soul. I have come to realize that, after having watched his videos and heard his songs that he has also has captures the soul of this carol and many other songs.

Recently saw him at one of his LA concerts for the Festival of Carols with the LA Master Chorale at the Beautiful Walt Disney Concert Hall.
