The shaking of one's head while agreeing does NOT mean they're lying EVERY time it happens. I've seen it happen a few times where someone shook their head while saying yes and they were telling the honest to God truth. I've done it myself and had it pointed out to me (not with law enforcement, but with friends). I KNOW that I was telling the truth.

My thoughts exactly!! I think Burke hit her, Patsy probably wanted to take her to the hospital, John insisted she was probably brain dead, and that he had to take the other actions to protect them all from prosecution. They were not consoling each other AT ALL after finding the body, and remained in separate rooms. That tells me they were upset with each other, and the only reason I can think is thst they had separate opinions of what to do, and that John won. This would explain the look Linda Ardnt saw when he brought JonBenet's body up from the basement and laid it down. Funny how the truth always comes out in the end. I notice he seemed to dominate many of their interviews, and Patsy would look at him a lot before answering. I do feel for her, if this is what truly transpired, and she was forced to go along. She really did love JonBenet. She was the apple of her eye (and why Burke was jealous enough to hit her hard enough to kill her).

Notice at 3:43 Patsy says, "We were frightened. There was a murderer loose." While she says this she is shaking her head no as if lying. At 3:52 she says, "Yes" but shakes her head no. The mouth says one thing but her body can't help but tell the truth. In another interview I watched, John Ramsey says, "No, I did not kill my daughter, JonBenet." He nods yes while saying it. The body can't help but tell the truth.

There something very strange to me, when two parents of a murder victim, purely say "We were scared, there was a murderer out there." Not "We wanted justice for our daughter and want said perpetrator to rot in hell," or even "We were concerned for the safety of our entire family, particularly our other children (John's other children) and our young son Burke." As a parent, you're suppose to make your children priority, their safety included so why is there no fear for theirs son's safety, if they're certain a murderer is on the lose? I am not saying they either are or aren't innocent, I just find it a strange comment.

Their lawyers--not the Ramseys themselves--after that refused to cave in to the rigid demands of the police, and the police refused to question them if it wasn't 100% on their terms. The Ramseys did agree to interviews that the police cancelled at the last minute, leaking to the press to make them look bad. The Boulder Police detectives on the case had NO experience investigating homicides, initally refused help from outside agencies with more experience, and they let their total fixation on the Ramseys screw up any chance of ever solving this crime, absent a confession.

Linda Arndt's "ability to look into someones eyes and determine they were (/he is a) killer' ist not remarkable, it's simply called instinct. Instinct she had looking into the eyes of someone who just carried a body (in rigor mortis) from one story to another (after having removed the duct-tape from her mouth, tried to untie the cord around her arms, talked to her and kissed her) and still needed someone to tell him, that she was dead.

They're lying so much and so badly it's difficult to figure out their actual involvement, as they've clearly been advised to give a particular type of answer to a particular question, and there is a lot of 'planning' and 'thinking' of an answer going on... "Why didn't you want to take a lie detector test?" "We were frightened, there was a murderer on the loose!" Wow. That's the worst acting and the dumbest untruth I've heard in a while... I would think anyone willing to have the actual killer found, would have taken the test, so as to rule themselves out as suspects, so police resources can be concentrated towards other suspects..

Then she says, in an overwhelmingly fake manner: "We were frightened, there was a murderer loose!" Then the interviewer asks if they would take the test now. They pause, stutter and falter, when trying to respond and say yes. :) I'm now reading that there was a jury ready to convict them, but that the judge overruled the decision..? This would indicate they were charged, but perhaps I've misunderstood. I'll read more about this.

Please read Steve Thomas's book JonBenet: Inside the Ramsey Murder Investigation. So many mistakes were made early in the investigation, such as allowing John to carry the body up from the basement where he "found" her, disturbing the crime scene. The coroner also didn't think to test core body temp or eye fluid to determine the time of death before the body was transported from the crime scene and stored in a morgue freezer. Police failed to keep friends and family members from tampering with scene, even allowing Patsy's sister Pam to enter the house and collect many of the family's personal items which were carelessly "inventoried" but could have included possible evidence. The pre 1992 felt tip sharpie marker used to write the ransom note (and the practice ransom note) was found in Patsy's kitchen. And most surprisingly, the Ramseys lawyered up right away - even before they were first questioned by Boulder detectives. This contradicts their claim in this interview that they were "shocked" that the police even considered them possible suspects. The evidence is all there, folks.

Big red flag, refusing lie detector test!
@earlomurray8462
@earlomurray8462 8 жыл бұрын
+Angela: They did agree to lie detector tests after this interview, if it was by a neutral third party (they didn't trust the BPD and objected to the FBI, who were advising the BPD and were clearly biased). The Boulder Police refused, they wanted the the FBI or no one. The Ramseys just wanted someone neutral, not chosen by the BPD, and insisted that the results should be made public. So then the Ramseys went and had lie detector tests done by an expert in Atlanta, which were inconclusive the first time, so that examiner (not the Ramseys) picked another expert, did the tests again and released the results to the public, which concluded they were telling the truth. The BPD wouldn't even look at the results, and wouldn't agree to any neutral party, or anyone other than the FBI. The FBI was telling the BPD to leak false information to the media to pressure the Ramseys (a lot of what you Ramseys-did-it types believe is false information leaked by the BPD, that has been completely disproven). John and Patsy were 100% right not to trust the FBI.

The sheer fact that the Ramseys went out of their way to avoid the police in the days following the murder shows that they were attempting to hide something. While most parents who just lost a child would be demanding to know any information the police could provide, the Ramseys didn't question the police at all. Nor did they seem interested in working alongside the detectives to find the killer. An interesting piece of evidence that might point to Burke (JonBenet's brother) as the murderer is that shortly after JonBenet was killed, he was asked to draw pictures of his family and he left JonBenet out. Most kids who lose a sibling continue drawing them in pictures of the family for years, but he didn't draw her at all. Almost as if he were happy she was "out of the picture." And it's known that he had been violent towards his sister in the past, hitting her with a golf club, perhaps because he was jealous of all the attention she got. After reading Steve Thomas's book, my best theory is that the parents were covering for Burke.
@VintageRose75

Samantha Wilton I totally agree with you. The parents and Burke were not afraid and not pushing to find the murderer, because they knew all along. And, he even said matter-of-factly, AS AN ADULT in the Dr. Phil interview, that the reason he didn't draw her was simply because she was no longer here (meaning alive). Personally nothing about this murder made any sense until the brother was mentioned . Then it starts to make perfect sense why they would try and cover up what happened. I never felt John was the one who committed the crime and that Patsy knew more then what she was saying. If i had to put money on it id say Burke got into a fight with his sister and hit her in the head. She was knocked out but appeared to be dead. At that point they panicked and staged a murder knowing that if the truth came out they would lose another child. Remember at this point Burke is there only child and John had already lost a child that devastated him during a previous marriage. Who knows i could be totally wrong but from reading about the Grand Jury indictment it accuses the Ramsey's of knowing more information about the murder and not telling the police. It doesn't accuse them of being the murders directly.

Unless Burke created a garotte and attached cords to her neck and tied her hands then you're a fact proof idiot. It is proven by autopsy and the special forensic pathological and gynecological team that she died from strangling. Dr. Cyril Wecht the forensic pathologist of pathologists clearly explained in several interviews and podcasts that below that massive wack was less than 7 ccs of blood. And what does that mean? Her heart had already stopped. Moreover, Dr. Wecht clearly explained that inside her vaginal cavity was eroded skin, yes scar tissue, very little if any hymen left, while another Dr. stated that her vaginal entrance was two times the size of a normal 6 year old! This case is a Satanic Ritual Abuse case. That girl was molested way before that evening and that is NOT THE WORK OF BURKE. Surely he too was a victim! And symbolically the Ramsey home was full of modern occult patterns even Masonic checker boards and even poor little JonBenet was dressed in pageant wear as so, and her spiral like hat. The shaking of one's head while agreeing is common when lying, also they both stammered when asked if they would take a polygraph which was just so strange. Patsy is also completely defensive, while John is calm and slowing his speech down to prevent stammering and never breaks eye contact also common in lying, two very different reactions. Another note is the stating of the lie or fear in the statement, " Yes, I would take a lie detector test. " rather than something along the lines as of course I would, or I would take it a hundred times over(E.G providing evidence of ones innocence instead of repeating the lie or fear). With the case reopened and making headway lets only hope the truth will soon surface.

sue she I agree with you. Some people LOOK for reasons to make them look guilty because they're too stubborn to see the real evidence. They look for any fault that they can find. Like I've said many times, the killer could come forward, his DNA would match the DNA on JonBenet's panties, plus, he would own the identical boots that matched the prinit on the floor, etc., etc., and these people would STILL say Patsy or John did it.

***** AMEN!!!!! One of the most ridiculous things I've read was someone saying, "John looks like a child molester"!!!! Talk about an dimwitted comment. What does a child molester look like???? It amazes me how so many people think they know how they'd react in a situation which they've NEVER experienced. Nobody knows how they'd react. However, I think the reaction of the Ramsey's was nothing short of sheer agony and devastation. It's so obvious on John's face how much he loved her when he talks about her or shows someone a picture she drew. I saw the same pride in Patsy. However, if you look hard enough, you can always find something negative about a person, whether it's there or not. Some people only see that part.

@earlomurray8462
@earlomurray8462 8 жыл бұрын
+IG: Spyda_337: The pineapple is meaningless. Based on human physiology, JonBenét could have eaten the fruit cocktail (it was later proven to be more than just pineapple, but included grapes and more) at the Whites', or even at home before she left for the Whites'. But to have reached her small intestine instead of her stomach, it could NOT have been eaten any less than two hours before she died, and possibly up to six hours. So, it wasn't ONLY pineapple in her system and it most likely could NOT have been fed to her by the killer. Now you know.

It doesn't matter what the Ramsey's did, people criticized them because they made up their minds from day one that they were guilty. They don't bother reading anything updated. If the Ramsey's cry, then they must be faking it. If they don't cry, then they look guilty because they're not crying. It's pathetic how some people have nothing better to do than LOOK for ONLY the negative in others, regardless of the updated evidence. I've seen posts where someone has said that the Ramsey's were exonerated, which they were and a naysayer will post, 'NO THEY WEREN'T'. To me, that is obvious proof that they refuse to read anything after 1996.

This case is a very confusing one, but you can not deem these parents guilty based on how they reacted to the situation. The only way to convict someone of being guilty is with hard evidence, evidence that this case might have possibly had if the police actually would've known what they were doing and would've preserved the evidence and crime scene properly.

This entire case has been so confusing and made no sense. for example, the ransom note: it's addressed to John but Patsy finds it and even though they warn against contacting the police, she still calls them. so, she either didn't care about these people killing her daughter or she knows that jon-benet is already dead. the letter was weird. why tell John that if he contacts police that they will kill his daughter if jon-benet is already dead? who wrote that letter?

Conspiracy cover up. Ramsey did indirect business with governmentally big money entities. Someone killed that kid because she was making John look less like a respectable international businessman and more like a child hooker farmer. Possibly Patsy was trying to push the kid into pageants for her own sense of maternal gratification. Big marital conflict, she's sabotaging him. It fucked with his rep and he couldn't control it. You are writing gibberish. What do you mean it is "not important." It's very important to show the state of mind of JR. In other words, it is not "natural" to want to go to a business meeting on the heels of finding our daughter murdered, and that was Kolar's point. This is not something Kolar "made up" or was a part of Kolar's "intuition." This is what the police wrote down at the time it happened, and this is what Kolar read when he went over contemporaneous notes of police.

I feel like if it was just Job in this interview I would find it pretty believable, but the way patsy tries to back up what he’s saying feels like overkill. Guilty people often seem to go overboard with the deflecting comments, like I can’t even believe someone would accuse me of that! How dare they! I would never! Because they are trying so hard to convince other people they aren’t lying. If you’re telling the truth there is no need to go overboard trying to convince other people. Granted it sucks to be accused of murder, however if they were innocent they would have a very clear answer to any questions that came up and not excuses.
