Gotta say - as a teacher/guide and fellow KZbinr - I very much appreciate what you had to say around the 15 minute mark. You have crazy numbers of viewers and they emulate how they see you fish and how they see you respect the locations. Cleaning up the areas and preaching for protection of our waters is an absolutely positive and necessary step to protecting what we have. I know my opinion doesn't mean much - but please keep these types of talks (and the video of collecting the line etc.) in your future videos to help educate our young anglers on the proper way to do these things. Additionally on a non-fishing related note - these style of videos are awesome. Love the travel and fishing aspect. You have the ability to fish anywhere in the world and you choose some of the least ideal places and you show our young anglers that they can really fish anywhere. Keep it up. Really good vides on this video.

Hey Jon there are some parks along the San Antonio river that you can fish/fly fish. Some of them have kayak chutes so you can go down the river along the falls. Confluence Park, Espada Park and others. Pretty fun creek fishing, you won’t catch huge fish but you can still catch. Also SA has a couple power plant lakes that have Redfish in them as well as bass, catfish, hybrids, etc.

Cool your in san antonio jon. You should take the yak downstream further there are alot of pinch points where they make canals for the yaks to get through. Those areas are loaded with fish. I have alot of secret spots down there. There are canals downstream that are loaded with fish that are 300 years old and go away from the river. Acequia park area. Just some insight have fun in sa bud
