I love that section of the river. I can get you on a pb Guadalupe bass Jon give me a shout. Biggest guads I’ve ever seen. A certain section of that river is loaded with 2-3 pounders, and have a chance at a big largemouth too

Reason why the water is that bluish-green color is due to an abundance of calcium ions. Fun fact. Same idea if it were yellowish (iron) or tea stained (tannic acid from leaf decay).
