It's funny you mentioned the COVID summer being nicer. And your experience isn't just an annecdote actually! Apparently there was a study in that time where scientists recognized that because of the lockdown from COVID that factories had to close and stuff. So the Earth healed a tiny bit from that time period. I can't remember the exact percentage of how much it helped. But it was definitely neat to notice. Now if only they do something about carbon emissions while society is still going. I'll try and find the study if I can/or remember to.

i really don't understand this whole "ethan could have saved JP" talking poitn. is completely flawed and not based in reality at all. 1 Ethan did try to talk to JP about it, H3 asked him "can you please clarify what you mean by this" and JP replied like: "woke moralist, the crowd you feed will eat you" 2 JP HAS a platform, arguably bigger than H3, so is insane to put all the blame on H3 for "not inviting him to the h3 show" when JP also could have invited Ethan on his show. He was never interested on a conversation, he could have replied to h3 on twitter "I can clarify what I mean, on a conversation" but he didn't do that. 3 What to we feel like we "lost" by JP going crazy? this sentiment of "could have been saved" is something we have when we lost a valuable thing in a way that could have been avoided. I don't see what we lost, or what was the value on this guy. Other than people who feel like they're smart by saying JP is smart lol
@bmw8959 ай бұрын
It's very clear what JP means when they say woke moralistic, you're playing dumb. Jordan Peterson was reasonable before he did drugs. The rules for life were good pieces of advice. It's a real shame the far left like h3 broke the guy and made him turn to drugs as in his absence we got trash like Andrew tate. The left has no good role models, not really. No one wants to be a Ryan beard

Papa, the whole stealing energy from the sun doesn't make sense lol. The sun doesn't use that energy that we collect. It doesn't bounce back to the sun. The sun's core is fusion. The opposite of fission which is what a nuclear reactor is. It works when 2 nuclei form together and form a heavier nuclei and the remaining mass is energy, and it repeats itself for a neverending process. Fission which is the opposite, and used in nuclear energy is when an atom splits apart from a neutron slamming into it which results in a chain reaction that occurs until the energy creating the chain reaction is used.

Occam's razor can be best simplified by "The simplest explanation is usually the correct one." Like if a husband and wife live alone in a cabin and the wife is murdered one day while the husband was on a fishing trip, we wouldn't assume some strangers broke into a random cabin and killed the wife. Occam's razor says it was the husband.

There's a video of Jordan talking to an African woman about it. And when he's talking about the poor dying he's talking about African countries that are affected by global Fossil fuels laws that limit their usage of fossil fuels and that them limits make sense for more western countries that have the resources to invest renewable energy but these African countries don't have those resources or the environmental setup for reusable energy, plus a lot of resources used for reusable energy are mind out of african countries and that has economic and environmental impacts of those countries so a lot of african countries are against reusable energy because people are dying from heat stroke before the can't afford the energy to run ACs and then penalize for using fuel they can only afford and they don't want to use reusable energy equipment because the resources for the batteries are mined out of africa and cause a lot of issues in their countries. Jordan actually thinks nuclear energy is the best move forward
